@nubb: It warmed the cockles of my heart to see you slapping pros around with Gen. Mad props. Just curious though, at the beginning of the Marn fight you tagged him with one hit of Shakudan and let him fall. Did you know you can KKK s.hk to juggle him if you only connect one hit of Shakudan, or was that intentional/an accident?

Nice, I wonder why you keep doing hands fadc s.mp s.hp lk gekiro though? It does really bad damage and the stun isn’t exactly rewarding either.
Don’t know if you’re looking for critique or anything, but in the first round you made some bad mistakes that you never should against zangief, like doing oga when he blocks it. Also, you should NEVER do ultra on wake-up against strong players unless you actually know it will hit (or read the opponent like a book) because that was just a waste imo.

One thing though - is there any reason not to mash out hp hands during a blocked scissor kick when facing Bison? I see a lot of great Gens not do this, but it seems pretty failsafe to me. Or have I just faced Bisons that don’t know how to punish it?
yep i’m stilltrying to figure out how useful HP hands (3 frames startup, +5 on block) are, against characters who rush down a lot
still confused at the moment, i tend not to use it but i somehow feel it could be worth doing it :\
I’ve stopped hands mashing after scissor kick. It can be beaten by ex psycho and you don’t want to get knocked down in that match up.
they can punnish you if it whiffs. so its like a dp but safe on block. you only want to do it every so often as to not be predictable. like i only do it when i get close to the corner
no if i mash out Hands after scizor kick on blocking he’ll do St.Hk or another Cr.LK+ or cr.MK+ scizzor kick , so the best option here its to stay on guard , Gekiro lk beat scizzor kick in this situation but its not a good idea you know
more than against bison i was thinking of rufus/cammy/abel/guy, that kind of very close rushdown
