yeah that match is weird, but I just hate playing against MT or TK in general, another tc is fine not many BQ’s or JD’s to fight…
When I play MT, i normally start by trying to side step right off the bat, but alot of times the crazy tracking on the punch string can still fuck you. Or if I don’t do that when i see them dash in I go immediately for High counter and try and mix it up after that. another good thing to do is try and do a crouch into df+p+k the shoulder check right away that seems to work okay. Or go for some stance mixups using the k+g or b+k+g. Or if they are real punch spammers. let them take you to the corner or near the corner, duck one set of punch strings (alot of punch stringers don’t even use the knee) and then high counter them out when they try and start the next one.
The low throws in judo seem pretty worthless. It makes no sense to use them when you have a much better chance at landing a launcher into juggle and on top of that the juggle does more damage.
Man I wish I could go in training and try stuff lol.
I played a JD last night that beat my MT. He was lvl 8 or 9. Named Armor. He did a couple of moves that I hadn’t seen before. Like a throw that launches the opponent.
That guy was right under me on the win streak board last night until I left.
There was too much lag for me to play against him.
There was some insane TC chick with crazy mixups that outprioritized all my shit. I’d try to overhead her when she comboed into her low stance, but there wasn’t any of that going on. I usually never have trouble battling TC, but she made me cry.
Are you guys at SRK up for some 3 on 3 death matches? We’re over at Narutofan posting about KwonHo, but I wanna see how well we can do against some more experienced players here at SRK. Our team will prolly consist of ZergKage, Saist, and Kisame. We can set up a private room if you’d like and then post the results tomorrow on each of our respected forums. I am trying to an X-Box 360 pad for this game, but I cannot get it to work properly. I have downloaded the latest official drivers for it from MS and the custom drivers specified on the KwonHo website.
My computer recognizes the X-Box 360 pad, but the program does not. Bear in mind that I am using a 3rd party pad (from Pelican to be exact) so could this be the reason why?
