KwonHo: Fist of Heroes...MMO Fighting game!

Yeah, we decided not to release everything yet. In the Korean version, there are hundreds of items. The current phase, we want to keep more focus on testing stability and major issues.

Ok, after lagging my way to level 5 i know what this game needs the most-
DOA4 netplay. The way that lags will cause it to slowdown instead of giving you huge ass input delays. Slowdown sucks too but way less than input delays.
if you can’t do that, at least try to make a way for a player to find the players he will have the least lags with.

and do it 24/7 so i won’t have to play with US players X_X

play with people who have pings similar to yours. Don’t play with people who are obviously from brazil or mongolia. check their pings before you hit ready, if their ping is far from yours, don’t play them

Yeah and you do realize this is for north america. Your ping is most likely gonna be high if you are out of the country.

Also I’d love to know when the full beta is planned for release. I want to practice some new combos utilizing some attacks I’ve viewed, also very excited about the huge variety of items that the Korean players have access to at the moment.

I think judo would be good if the game didnt have so much damn button lag online. the bars on the connection meter would be full and it would take about half a second for the starting animation of a move to come out after hitting a button. Not to mention all the times I’ve pressed a button and had nothing happen at all.

Hell yeah I was just about to come in here and say that. Judo does beastly damage of the b+f+p+k. Most damage I got was 54 but thats only at the edge with p wait p qcf+p+g (air grab) midscreen most damage is 51 I believe with launcher p b+k,k.

Also if there was no button lag you the crouch throw stuff is really good, even though I think they get two chances to break it. And the P,P string isn’t bad.

Oh and with TC the b+f+p that stuns on counter hit anyone found anything good to do off this?

This game is pretty neat cept for the fact that I can’t beat MT users for the life of me. I swear, my record against MT is like 3-15 and my record against everything else is 10-2. Punch strings that you can only interrupt with lows mixed with a bunch of mids that out prioritize the shit out of my TC.

I tend to have issues against TC since they seem to have hits in their strings that actually hit me out of godly crouching p+k. And also against other BJ peeps since we all have the same cheese and I get baited a lot.

The tc kick launcher just goes through a lot of things. It went through my jabs and a few of my other moves

Even though I only got one game in, I enjoyed watching you guys play.

If you are fighting against MT spammers, I believe that between the third and fourth punch of the punch string is punishable with a TC jab. If you anticipate a knee after the punch string, just SS into punishment.

Ok…played some more today and realized the following with MT:

  1. Cr. P with MT is awesome. It beats ALOT of things. To get in close I normally just have to do a :r:, :df: XX :d:+P. Hit with 1 or 2 Cr. P, then a Cr. K, then P+K, K Knee overhead. Works more than it should, and it is the only way to get people to start block low more often against MT (since they have alot of overheads).

  2. (P~G)xN works on people that just want to mash attacks. Until they duck. Then just block low once and proceed to P+K, K.

  3. If they don’t mash then: P~G, P~G, and P+G for the throw.

  4. :r:, :r:+K can ring out on counter hit (any other time I’d use :r:, :r:+P XX P, P, K for counter).

  5. :r:, :r:+K+G has good priority (and launches) as long as you have some room to start it up.

  6. When people run at you use :r:, :l:+K+G; though it has some start-up so make sure to time it right. (Other things can be used too, but I don’t feel like listing them)

Hope this helps any MT users out there.

EDIT: Thought I’d mention something stupid I noticed. The taunt at the end of the round (P+K) can hit the opponent. Just kill them with a hit that makes the fall forward slowly, then immediately do the taunt and it will knock the opponent down.

I usually do PK and f+K to space them out and set them up for that move.

It quick crumple stuns the opponent on counter hit too. I have not found a good follow-up for it yet.

I was waiting on a buddy of mine to go eat and left because of that. I will definately get more games in with you guys tomorrow.

I’ve only actually hit the opponent during the stun a few times. The move has too much recovery. But I’ll work on finding something good tomorrow.

What level is everyone? I skipped playing for two days, but I’m right at level 8 right now.

I at first doubted the mmo qualities of this game but now I have realized that smacking up on people is kind of like grinding, especially against the people who dont block.

I have also found that streak rooms are great for me, its like a perfect one night stand, if the person totally sucks you don’t have the uncomfortable moments where you try to find a reason to leave. They are great.

There’s nothing like having people harass you after getting beat up in streak rooms.

About TC’s b,f+p, after stun I think the best you can do is p,p,p or k.

Fighting MT with TC sucks ass…still trying to figure out how to go about that match up.
