Just wanted to say gg’s to everyone I played against. Also just had a blast watching some of the pros play.
Neosyphenx’s 15 win streak at the end was pretty nuts.
I learned a lot by watching you guys play and hope to play most of you tomorrow as well :wgrin: I’m new to posting at SRK but if it keeps a small kwonho community through this closed beta and the upcoming open beta I’ll frequent the site much more often.

Good games guys; I learned quite a bit by watching you guys, especially Neosyphen.
Notes on MT:
f+K = OG Dictator’s s.MK. It comes out quick, hits mid, does decent damage, and has great range.
Neosyphen landed P+KK an ungodly amount of times; I am assuming that the hitbox for the move comes out as soon as the knee starts to rise and not when the knee is fully extended, or the opponent tried to do something risky or unsafe. I am leaning towards the former.
Sidestepping is not that useful thanks to most moves ability to track the opponent well, especially in canned strings. The only time where I found sidesteps useful was when the opponent did anything linear with a ton of recovery time.
MT has a ridiculous amount of moves that knock down that are very safe. PPP+K, PPPdK, fPbP on CH, bfPK, bfPbPP, and bfPbPPK all knock down and do a decent amount of damage, the last string doing roughly 25% to 30% damage.
BJ’s low punch knockdown is the anti-christ. I remember gl0ry landing this at least three to five times a match into a ground punch follow-up.

A useful sidestep: The low kick in MT’s P, P, P, d+K.
Oh, and I figured out what you should do on that crumple stun:
f, f+P XX b, f+P, b+P, P
f, b+K+G XX P, P+K, K
Also. After the f, f+K+G launcher. You should combo with P, P, P+K because it does more damage and carries the opponent just a little further than the P, P, K.

I think I played someone from srk, KimKapwan. I was a Lv.6 Ba Ji user, Guess. GGs if you post here.
I learned that I can punish duckers and string abusers with PK+K. The timing on it is quick, but nothing that isn’t punishable. If someone were to whiff it on me, I’d have enough time to hit them with it. It also makes for a good wakeup move, depending on the situation.
People sidestepping the P,P,P d + K string messed up my world. I had never had anyone do that until this evening. Something to watch out for.
Lawls. I played wayyyyyyy too many matches tonight to keep count. Methinks lagx0r happened.
I need to fight more TC users…I can think of two that give me crazy amounts of trouble…

I use the P, P+K, K ender that ends up doing 39 damage in training mode; how much does that do?

The P, P+K, K ender does more; by around 2-3 I think. But the P, P, P+K carries them WAY further than that. And getting someone against a wall is almost insta-win because they are too afraid to try anything…and if they do, then they get ring out-ed.
Your Judo is a lot stronger than mine. I loved watching you fight because I learned so much… at least I think I did
Anyway, might as well contribute to the learning:
With Judo : f,f+k as a counter makes the opponent stagger back for a while. After it you can dash up and do b+k,k.
Not sure if the f,f+k is useful ever, I can never land it too well as a counter, and you might be able follow up with something other than b+k,k but i haven’t tested anything else.
Anyone know if theres any use for that?
Correct me if i’m wrong but is the judo air grab combo b, f+p+k xx p xx p, airgrab?

Yeah. Just go b, f+P+K xx P~G, P xx Airgrab.
P~G is just a P that is guard canceled so the second P doesn’t combo. And timing is strict.
Is it possible to ground hit someone more than once?
