Cheers, ill go for those 2 then.
If you go for the Taeyoung fanta, keep in mind that the rubber is ROCK HARD. I have had one for about a year and it is still difficult for me to play the Mishima characters in Tekken properly.
Im thinking of just going for the MyoungShin fanta. It sounds like it would suit me the most.
Okay so my fanta has a square guide and I LOVE it, but i noticed that most Korean sticks are circular. The corners are subtle and when you’re doing quarter circles or half circles you dont even notice them. However, they are pronounced when you try to tiger knee or DP. Personally, smooth circular movement plus corners when I need them makes for a perfect stick, I don’t know why most fanta’s are made circular.
So does anyone else have corners on their fantas? This one posted earlier seems like it’s a square

For a better view of the part that makes it square instead of circular here’s my stick’s underside:

It sounded like this person’s fanta was old, are only old fantas square? I’d like to know because if they still make them I want more of the square ones!
hi all, a quick noob question bout arcade stick
what is the pros and cons between a modded Saulabi Fanta, etc and HRAP 3 ? which one is better for a longer term ?
Thanks a bunch.
I mounted my korean parts I bought this week into my plastic carrying case I got from a local company. Here are some pics:

And at last, the final product:

tools used:
soldering iron, drill press, glue gun, wires & wiring tools, screwdriver, shears, electrical tape
btw, I used the ultimate mod (like on the JLF) on the Crown CWL 306’s lever switches and it’s amazing!
Seems the Crown 306 stick has a tighter feel with smaller throw and engage radius but stiffer(if I’m reading the specs correctly). Looks suitable for last minute shoryukens in SF4. I love the colors for this stick btw.
However, the Myoungshin fanta is highly recommended. I seem to remember playing with Korean sticks and love them but lately, I’ve been getting used to Japanese style sticks. Any recommendations between the 2? Or are they both quite similar and it all comes down to style and color?
i tend to ride the gate and the fanta seems to work very well for me
Which stick do they put in the tekken 6 cabs over there in Korea?
Is is available off the site listed in this thread? anyone have a link?
I just want to order a stick not a whole assembled unit with buttons and all that.
I’m guessing these are the Crown sticks that people are mentioning in this thread. I’m just a little confused at all the brandnames thrown around (i.e. Fanta, Crown, and various korean words).
any way play whit CWL305 +Spring Action kof or sf ?? hcf ??
According to the Korean FAQ here, CWL303 is used for the T6 cabs. You can pick one up from Laugh here.
By the way, Stick.pe.kr never answers E-mails. At least I sent 5, 3 were in Korean and not 1 answer 8[
which fanta?
which stiffness do the t6 cabins have in korea ? low oder medium?
The korean tekken players got so incredible movement. I just suck with mein medium fanta stick. The Execution is very nice but i can barely move…
Someone asked me to make a wooden box for korean parts (I guess he plays Tekken), but I simply cannot find any information on the footprint of the korean sticks anywhere
I searched all over the web (joystickvault, slagcoin, kowal’s web site, etc) but found nothing. I really NEED this information since I won’t have the opportunity to see a korean stick for real !
Thank you to whoever can help me
Are there any products where you can get a taeyoung fanta arcade stick with buttons and such for the ps3? one that you don’t have to mod, but just comes complete?
What’s the best ‘complete’ korean stick available?
Laugh, since I’ve seen alot of questions regarding Korean sticks in general in this thread, maybe you could answer mine, if you don’t mind.
I’m considering buying a Crown CWL303 and putting in my HRAP. Is it possible? And if it is, what do I need to know to do it properly? I have soldering basics down, if it matters.
An answer from anyone would actually be a big help.
You need to look in the Korean Arcade Parts FAQ found here on these very forums. Keep looking, you’re close.

Are those white Crown snap-in buttons? Where can I get those buttons?
