Yeah, I found out they were 28 mm buttons a little while back…should mount easily in my Mayflash stick with 28mm button holes, and I’ll probably put my Fanta in there as well and just .kr the whole thing out.

Are the normal snap ins (A version) also 28mm?
Yep…that’s what I’m getting.

I recently bought one of each of the sticks Laugh is selling. I haven’t dropped them in a case yet (hopefully next week or so), but from the feel of just messing with the sticks the 306 is one of my favorites. That or the Taeyoung.

nice! could you post pics later once you have them up?
anyone have a good korean button layout? similar to the saulabi
I’m in the same spot, except I haven’t bought the 303 or 306 YET…I’ll probably pick those up next time around, along with some more Crown buttons. I decided that, since I didn’t know what my preferences were specifically, I would just go buy everything and sell what I don’t like.
saulabi ps2 yes it is compatible on ps2 and ps3
the saulabi is compatible just put a controller ps2 two in the converter and let it in and put then the saulabi stick so u have to play with your controller in the converter.

I’d just like to point out a couple of things.
This is a pretty big misunderstanding, actually. Both of the links will take you to authentic Crown buttons which are good buttons, and the first one (snap-in) is actually my absolute favorite.
The buttons stick.pe.kr uses are knock offs that based its dimensions and stuff on the Crown snap-in button from the first link. The difference is huge between the two buttons. The knock off snap-in buttons have a hollow feeling when you press them like some of you have said and the microswitch they used for those knock off buttons aren’t very durable (even worse for me because I press my buttons really hard). The only good thing about those knock off buttons is that they copied the dimensions of the real Crown snap-in buttons, and thus the real deal will fit right into the button hole, and will also snap properly if put in a Saulabi case.
My comment about the plungers going lower than the rims was for a set of no name buttons I found on Nin’s stick that he brought to France. He brought a modded wooden stick to France for a Tekken tournament and it had these no name buttons that I disliked because of how the plungers were as said in the quote in VR-Fist’s post. This comment doesn’t apply to the Crown buttons nor the knock off snap-in buttons although I really don’t like the knock-off snap-in buttons for other reasons.
The light-blue (Deco) microswitches are just not very consistent nor durable, and Myoungshin has changed the microswitches to Starion switches and they work a whole lot better than they did with Deco switches. These Starion version will also take Gersung switches (the black version which are being produced right now, not the old brown version which activate a little too early to be used with the fat actuator). It’s very hard to get the small actuator version of Myoungshin Fanta sticks that will perform well now days, because it’s hard to find microswitches that will activate as early as the old brown Gersung switches from 3-4 years ago. The fat actuator made up for the slightly later point of activation of the newer microswitches, and they’ve got the adjustment down pretty much spot on IMO.
EvilSamurai has a good point. The best Korean stick to get if you’re going to mod both the buttons and the stick is Saulabi, because the case is made out of plastic and and easy to open and close by screwing/unscrewing the bottom 4 screws. The screw holes for the stick on the wooden sticks can and will wear out and become too loose if you change out the stick a lot. So plastic is better in the long run. The cons for getting the Saulabi compared to the wooden stick are the engrish writing on the top panel and the angle of the top panel for some people. If you’re used to leveled surfaces on sticks, Saulabi sticks might take some getting used to. They’re angled because Korean arcade cabinets’ control panels are angled.
I’m planning on making a web tutorial on how to mod a Saulabi and a wooden stick from stick.pe.kr with authentic parts very soon.
Oh, and their PS2 PCBs are not compatible with converters, so beware. I don’t think they find it necessary to make it compatible since they also make PS3 sticks and since PS2 is last gen now.

Anyone got any ideas which of these sticks is best for sf4? Im probably going to buy 2 to test. Not sure which 2 yet. I use a lot of charge characters if that makes any difference.
The main SF4 cab I played on before console was at US Davis and they had fantas, MyoungShin fanta. I gotta say they are damn near perfect, I didn’t hear one person complain about them and I thought they felt really natural. You should get the MyoungShin fanta and TaeYoung fanta’s.
