Anybody know when the Infiltration lever is getting released?

Which Omron switches did you use to get the cone actuator to work?

Another thing, Focus Attack is now carrying the Makestick Pro Fightstick Case for those who canā€™t afford Jasenā€™s K-Stick Case

https://focusattack.com/makestick-pro-fightstick-enclosure/

So I ended up buying the Fujin V2 from the Makestick website. Iā€™m scared now reading impressions of it being too stiff but can someone convince me itā€™s worth it? I thought that the regular Myoungshin Fanta Airbag was too stiff so is this even stiffer? Iā€™m thinking Iā€™d maybe like the Crown 309helpme instead.

I think that the people over at Focus Attack either read this thread or read my mind. They even do artwork and plexi for the stick too, you can chose where the option button goes on the plexi on top of that.

Hard to beat $50 something dollar case that can house K-sticks. Sweet move by FA.

Also, donā€™t forget that aside from Jasenā€™s cases, @Allfightsticks can do Korean mount top panels also for their metal cases. Especially if you already have one already for a Japanese mount, AFS could make you a top metal plate to house K-sticks.

Iā€™m just going to use a step drill on my Noir layout Madcatz TEs, much cheaper to reuse a case and its a better case IMO. I would like for companies like Razer and Hori (RIP Madcatz) to just make Korean sticks or Myoungshin compatible out of the box. But thanks to IST we can at least get something close.

Also, I really want to tryout the new Fighting Layer/EX with a K stick. It will be fun to compare it to Tekken.

Tekken X Street Fighter EX?

Oh it was the one @wazwuz supplied me. Itā€™s neither of those and I am lazy to open my stick for what it is.

fujin is very stiff, but smooth and accurate.
You can put a airbag or stock myoungshin grommet to make lighter and still properly enjoy the other modifications. Just make sure you use the (flatter, white) grommet center piece it comes with, or lever will wobble around more in dead space.

I no longer use crown levers, canā€™t comment on the 309 but~
If you purchased a Fujin not knowing much about it and a airbag was too stiff for you, that lever might be too high a level.
someone will buy it off you :>

If you decide not to keep the Fujin V2 I might be interested in it

Thanks for the info Ghost Cobra, your post before got me hyped on the Fujin V2 and bought it over the weekend because of you saying how accurate it felt. Iā€™m planning on really diving in and getting gud in Tekken 7 but I also play SF and Marvel. I ended up buying the Crown 309 level as well. I already drilled a hole in my stick for when I had the Myoungshin Fanta Airbag inside.

rbuniao, Iā€™ll let you know if I end up not liking it and and want to sell it.

Another question for you Ghost Robo would be is the Fujin V2 your favorite stick and do you use it mainly? If it is or isnā€™t, why is that the case? Iā€™d love to know more about the difference in feel and accuracy.

Golden fanta update:
I just try ā€œkazeā€ setup using omron switch V152-1C25 for down direction this weekend. And the result is impressive, the combinations of lower tension of down direction (omron) and higher tension of neighbouring direction (matsushita) works very well. I can do rapid qcf/qcb and executing super in sfv faster using this setup.
I will make this setup for Golden Fanta retail vesion

So here is the plan for retail version of golden fanta:

Long Throw
8mm shaft; 15.5mm actuator (and 15mm maybe); one omrom switch

Short Throw
10mm shaft; 16mm actuator (and revised cone maybe); one omron switch

Grommets will be available in all tension for seperate purchase.

What do you think about this? Your input is very important for me to make final retail version.

I will start producing it in late April. And hope it will be ready on end of mei right before T7 release.

A 16mm bronze actuator would be really nice @wazwuz. The stock 16.5 mm fanta actuator is good but I think a revised cone version where itā€™s 16.5 at the widest point and 16mm at the narrowest point would be great. The 10mm shaft is the best thing (for me) ever since receiving and testing the golden fanta mods. Hopefully, later this week, Iā€™ll be getting some micro switches that the seller on eBay states that are comparable to the Cherry switches from the old school Happ sticks that Iā€™ve grown up with in the 90s.

it is daily user until I create my best golden fanta set up for TEKKEN
I loved and used the myoungshin fanta/airbag for years, fujinV2 for me is just a well modded version of a lever I already hold dear.
the custom switch assembly spacing makes corners wonderful and the fatty clear top gives it a pleasant robust feel.
Itā€™s still a modded myoungshin but those two things stand out for me.

Past week I have been overseas in my fatherā€™s country for funeral things with no gaming equipment. When Iā€™m back in USA, I
did want to give the 8mm and 10mm shafts longer play tests. I would be interested in something like a heavier reproduction of the standard actuator size

So I just made a set of cones actuator from 15.5; 16; 16.5; 17mm

I have learn that most cones actuator is not good for diagonal input. It is hard to hit diagonal, Because when the actuator reaching the corners, the diameter is getting smaller. Except for the 17mm, i have no issue hitting the diagonal, but the cardinal input is became more sensitive. So I wont make cones actuator for retail version

Then I try to make 16mm actuator, and using 10mm shaft, it works perfectly. It can hit diagonal without problem. And the enggage distance is perfect for fast execution to the neighboring input. I really enjoy this setup, it helps me performing fast execution with less error.
I will use this setup for Golden Fanta Short Throw.

Iā€™ve been using the same set up as @Call2Arms and have been enjoying it sonfor now that is my set up as wellā€¦I am really hoping for a custom bat top in the near future and trying to see if anyone cane make them but so far the Golden Fanta Kit is awesome just needs the tweaks that others have mentioned and it will be perfect.

Great, this setup is likely to be the Long throw set for Golden Fanta. I will make 15,5mm for myself and try it using 8mm shaft. If the result is good. Then we have the retail setup for golden fanta.

@wazwuz I really donā€™t understand your application of the lighter switch in the DOWN position and calling it the ā€œKazeā€ā€¦ The Kaze uses a heavier switch (Gersung A3) for the UP direction to prevent accidental jumps and sidesteps when releasing from the crouched (down-back) position. The Gersung A3 is the heaviest in its series. He uses Matsushita mediums on all the others.

Thatā€™s not to say what youā€™re doing is wrong. Itā€™s just not identical to what Kaze is doing for his lever.

Update on Crown SDL-301 Infiltration lever.

Apparently this model is a test model of the 301-DX (deluxe version). I guess this might differ from the normal model? There is a metal ring inside the core body to probably prevent some form of breaking. There are circle and square gates. Also there are two different clear tops: one being a normal looking bat with the other having a flat top end probably to rest your thumb on. You can also notice that the DX uses Gersung switches. No date on the DX model but the normal 301 currently in manufacturing process.

I do like that clear top. Hopefully works with Golden Fanta shafts!
