Hi, I’m thinking about picking up one of those crown 309 sticks from focusattack. I was wondering about the width of the bat top compared to the Sanwa bat top? I find the Sanwa bat top to be too skinny and uncomfortable to use, or is it closer to an iL/Happ? Thanks for your help
Thank you all for contributing to this thread the information here is very interesting & helpful especially to a n00b like me
From what I understand it sounds like the popular switch options are either discontinued or unavailable from a U.S. retailer. What are my options for getting more sensitive switches in my Myoungshin Fanta lever?
Actually, it was DHL who text you. Some of the package is hadle by DHL when post is overload, when they do, they will infrom you the new track number.
Yesterday all the package have been in hongkong for transit, it should heading to your country today, and you will receive the package in the next couple days.
Still haven’t gotten an email but my Makestick package arrived on my doorstep today lol. Only took a week since ordering, surprisingly quick. Unfortunately they didn’t include the wire harnesses for my PCBs so I’m gonna have to try and get in touch with them somehow.
In the mean time, threw this together. I wanted a case I could use to try a variety of Korean levers in, and the Makestick case was so affordable, I couldn’t not order one.
Edit: noplzz responded to my email within the hour and he’s gonna send me the missing wires today. I love Makestick.

Apologies for the bad picture but they seem to be about the same. Left is Crown shaft, right is Sanwa battop.
I recently picked up a Fanta and stuck it in a Voltech VAS-HG since all I had to do was widen out the plexi for the collar, although I did have to commit since there wouldn’t be any going back unless I hit up Art for more plexi that he “might” still be able to provide.
But honestly the last thing I needed was another Sanwa/Seimitsu/Happ/iL/Hori enclosure. Needed some new thing to mess with really.
I do like the stick. Probably due to playing mostly on battops with American setups for many years helped with that. I’ve also gotten accustom to playing with Wico clone sticks so the jump to rubber grommet wasn’t too much of shock. I do find that for doing quarter circle motions I need to reduce my motions than I would with any other stick (feels even more so than an LS-56 because the switches are lighter on the Fanta, but the engage feels about the same).

Thanks for the picture, I will definitely get the jlf conversion shaft just in case.
just my opinion but the myoungshin bat top is really bad quality, mold lines everywhere, easy to scratch, sometimes, sprue points not fully cut, scratching your hand during play. One of the reasons I think we need a better solution (or wait for crown to release the frosted bat-top from that “infiltration” lever lol)
that said, I’ve never extensively used a Crown handle/stick, is the acrylic susceptible to cracking? anyone experienced cracked crown handles?

Only cracked handle I’ve ever seen was surprisingly on a Fujin lever. You’re right that the Myoungshin handles usually have a lot of manufacturing defects - in that regard, I think Crown wins by a bit. Theirs are typically smoother and cleaner from what I’ve seen. They’re really ugly though, and just because of that I think I prefer the Myoungshin ones.

Yeah I’m not impressed with the quality of the Fanta battop itself. Also the dust washer I find annoyingly loud, but I fixed that with a Sanwa button silencer pad.
Are Fanta and Crown shafts interchangeable? I’d get a white Crown in a heartbeat just to get the color scheme I want.

The Crown shaft has a bigger diameter and will not fit

Doing some testing now. 11mm shaft, sky blue grommet, cone actuator, AM51630C69N switches
I need this in my life. Anyone who doesn’t want theirs let me know.
Got mine! Impressions soon. <3

I can confirm that my Myoungshin Fanta bat top has multiple imperfections including discoloration & lines on the plastic.
I’m super excited for the Golden Fanta reviews!!!
Beautiful in Red :D. Red battop fits perfectly, I will order some Red battop for my golden fanta.
I glad finally some package are delived. Now we have a lot to discuss
Mine got delivered but I am not home yet to see it. Obviously I will go for the Green Game Land lever configuration first!
To all participant. Please give me you opinion on which parts should be included in retail version? Is it better to include all parts like this beta project, or just some parts which work best in general.
I was looking into purchasing a makestick case to tryout some Korean levers on the cheap, but what do i need to buy to complete the build? what wires and pcb should i buy to get this to work on 360. do i also need to buy screws? does anybody have any pictures or tips?
I also thought i should just buy the rev7 omni but i don’t know where to print art. If anyone can link me a website or something it would be great. The only place i could think of was arts hobbies and he doesn’t do art for the omni. i plan to get a commission from hibachi around may for my te stick and i was thinking of getting it for the omni or even the makestick instead only i don’t have the means to print and cut it myself and arts hobbies doesn’t offer anything for these sticks.
@wazwuz Will the retail version be available with a Myoungshin or would I have to buy the Myoungshin separately? This is because ParadiseArcade doesn’t actually sell a Myoungshin.
