Makestick is looking to sell the SDL-301 around April or May if I recall correctly. The only time I seen that particular top was for an earlier prototype from Crown a year or so ago. It might have been a precursor to the SDL-301. I think it might come because they are utilizing a new shaft to work with the body instead of opting for what they have now.

Judging by the pictures, the top should be fatter. Hopefully it uses the same screw dimensions as Sanwa’s. It does have that similar bottom end as Sanwa’s top with that funnel-y insert.

It should fit most Japanese stick mounts.

I would try it out. I don’t know for sure how it feels but you might like it.

@wazwuz If you think the support is already OK then I trust your opinion. I’m getting the makestick.com Airbag lever soon , but what about the people with a standard Myoungshin? Will the plexi you mentioned replicate the metal support of the Airbag lever? IMO the support that @kkolding mentioned seems like an option you should consider.
I also like seeing new pictures of the lever don’t forget to keep us updated. =)

@“Ghost Cobra” Do you think you tryout some of these mods in the Fujn V2? I asked about replacing Fujin parts with Myoungshin parts and you gave me the Katana analogy. This is definately not dulling the blade.

So, I got couple message that want to order from me directly. one of it make sense, From his calculations it only saves a couple bucks. 732/15 = $48.80. Then it will cost at least $5 for shipping and repacking. That leaves a total cost of $54. it was $39 for mod + $20 for shipping. It will also save you a week of waiting for whoever does it to repack and ship it. More room for error, etc.

Then I decide to distribute it individually. Due to this decisions, I don’t want to disappoint you @FightGameGuru who have offer himself to help the distribution. so if you @FightGameGuru interested about this project you can take my slot. I can make one for me letter anyway.

I learn in this picture, the grommet have holes in every diagonal. I believe it was used to compensate resistance in diagonal inputs (2 microswitch pushed together when hitting diagonal), So I think It will have impact on performance, then I revised my mold to have those holes too.

I just realized that this Golden Fanta mod will actually cost me more than the Airbag lever itself.£54.50 for a new arcade stick, £50 for a new metal panel, roughly £50 for the Airbag from Korea, £50 for a 35mm step drill and £57.76 for the Golden Fanta mod. convert that to dollars and i’m paying a fortune. Well worth it though.

@wazwuz looking at the weights of the parts, you have managed to weight the shaft perfectly. Could you include the weights of the other parts too? If we were able to get our hands on the Green Lever, and we found out it had a tension other than 40a, 50a and 60a, would you sell that tension grommet? Thanks
