Interesting what you say about swapping parts. I hope if you ever do try out more levers like the Greenlever, that you tell us about it =)
@Ghost_Cobra Thanks for the great in depth analysis amigo! Youâre a legend. I ordered one myself and am going to make a custom case for it.
anyone wanna help me complete a chart of the different âfanta modsâ and korean sticks in general?
its nice to have reviews and all but i think a accurate measurement and difference chart could help visualize it more, good reference too.
for âmyoungshin basedâ sticks, main aspects i think we need measurements/notes of:
-grommet tension (numberical durometer measure)
-actuator size
-bat top handle differences (height/girth?)
-microswitches used
levers in this list would include:
-Myoungshin (current stock)
-IST Airbag
-Green Arcade
-Fujin v2
-KAZE
-IST FLF
missing any?
i have access to myoungshin and airbag atm, will have FLF soon.
crown levers are all pretty well documented already, and they seem to have different configurations depending on when/where you buy them (i.e. some 303âs either have panasonic or gersung microswitches) but if you think they need to be expanded on i guess we can do that too.
@hibachifinal The green arcade lever is impossible to get hold of and I still donât own one. However I know it has a metal actuator, looser grommet and softer Thai switches. Possibly even a different shaft, maybe bigger or smaller, but I donât know for sure. Sorry if iâm not much help
Pretty much. I will say in my experience in using the Green lever is that the grommet sorta feels spongey. It might be the particular silicone material but it does feel different from the FLF grommet and even Crownâs models. It can also be constant use.
But yes the shaft has a smaller diameter on the top end. It matches the measurements of a normal Myoungshin Fanta shaftâs bottom portion. While most of the other parts are par for the course when it comes to modded Myoungshin Fanta levers, the shaft is probably the distinctive piece.
If someone can replicate the shaft, and even the bat top, I would buy that.
Hello Guys,
Been playing on a Korean lever since like⌠2006 lol. I have been lurking this thread for awhile and after trying a Fanta Airbag out just recently (and loving it,) It sparked interest in the green arcade lever, and I kind of want to replicate it on a spare Fanta that I have laying around⌠I know its going to be hard for me not knowing how it physically feels like so maybe with some help, I can replicate it, and possibly offer up a couple of levers with a modded shaft like theirs.
Correct me if im wrong, and this is purely off observationâŚ
- The washer that is put in place with long bolts acts as a fujin plate, keeping the microswitches tight and brings the dead zone slightly closer, and combined with the matsushita switches, its a softer engage.
- Actuator is slightly smaller (looks like the radius is similar to an âoldâ myoungshin actuator with a smaller upper portion widening the engage point a hair so that theres no unintended inputs. Remedies a Matsushita switch that may be more sensitive than others. Iâve ran into afew.
- The thing that is odd to me is the shaft itself, looking at the design and how it would work is that it increases the range of motion when using it, hence making the actuator hit the directions more solidly.
- Medium-Soft Latex/Silicone (couldnt find the information on this)
After looking at the information I gathered, it looks like they made The Green Arcade lever to have longevity with the actuator to withstand rigorous use, a cheap âfujinâ plate mod for switch stability, and having a deadzone similar to a stock myoungshin, and a deeper throw onto the collarâŚ
Anyone who has tried the lever can you describe it a bit to me in terms of feel? Im VERY interested in the lever, and since its hard to find, making parts for it may be the closest I can get to itâŚ
Thanks in advance!
Just bought a Korean style HelpMe and an Flf-Soft Lever. Thanks Rohan. #realmvp
I do kinda want a wooden istmall case thoâŚ
If @kkolding was still here, he can probably give you the most direct experience.
Like my previous post, there is a spongy-like feel in my time trying it. It can be a combination of the silicone tension and the metal actuator. When trying one at EVO, I did notice the actuator touching the switches felt obviously different than plastic actuators. The size of the actuator is similar to Crownâs CWJ-303 model.
The bat top is indeed fatter than normal Fanta tops. You can probably compare it closest to the Fujin V2 top. Also the Sanwa bat top but without the recessed bottom end. If you created the top, you can probably just use the same Fanta measurements and make it a bit fatter on the bottom end.
From what I know so far the green lever seems to be like an enigma. I cant help but think it doesnât seem to be of high quality, but it very highly regarded. From reviews Iâve gathered that, Itâs very different from the fujin in terms of performance, yet very similar in its construction.
Well it was based on a Myoungshin Fanta. I believe the swapped parts are pretty good.
As for performance/feel, I do understand some folks like JDCR, Saint and Helpme donât really like it. It can be something like the long throw distance, the switches in relation to the throw, the spongy tension, etc.
When compared to the Fujin, I donât feel the same performance. It feels like a more resiliant Fanta. Closest thing for me personally is a Crown CWJ-303N but not much.
If I ever get the lever somehow, I probably will end up not preferring it. It still it my holy grail when it comes to special designs and rarity.
If I ever get one I might just end up preferring a Sanwa JLF. I wish Korean sticks all had square gates. If the SDL-301 came with a square gate that would be so dope.
If youâre looking for a square gate in Korean flavor you might want to check out the Crown CWL305. Youâll still need a case that can handle standard Korean stick mounting but the CWL305 is, more or less, a square gate in a similar vein as some American style sticks.
@âNobus3r1 ver. 2.0â I just donât know about that hole big square american actuator. Are the 305 parts interchangeable with crowns other offerings like the 309MJ, 303 or the 307? I might be able to make it fit a japanese case. I do plan to buy a 305 when i have the time so i can make good use of its purple shaft in my 309MJ https://www.arcadeshop.de/Crown-Joysticks-CWL305-violet-Crown_1004.html I might also use the 305 if i like it but i just dont know if it is worth my money because i cant seem to find any good reviews.
I have no idea how interchangeable the CWL305 parts are with other Crown (or Myoungshin) sticks. I will say that in the brief time I used one I found it to be a pretty solid stick. If the link below doesnât work search âKowal CWL305â for a review that youâll need to run through Google translate.

I feel that his review is pretty accurate from what I remember. The CWL305 was, IMO, better from the go at hitting directions than Fanta sticks that have circular restrictor gate and require a bit more time to break. This was due to having a slightly softer rubber (probably) and being set up to have a square restrictor gate. That soft rubber is also why there can be an issue with deflection.
I was wondering where I could find purple/violet handles! I hope that they donât sell out of that model, because Iâd love to fit that on my 309MJ as well when I do finally get one. Itâd be an expensive purchase, but if itâs worth completing the look, then Iâm all for it.
I made a custom top for my 309mj recently. Itâs 35mm and tapers down to 25mm. I have to say, Iâm really liking the larger profile. It makes certain inputs feel easier/quicker. I also rounded the bottom which feels nice. Iâm thinking 32 or 33mm may be the sweet spot for me though. I originally had it at 38mm, but felt it was too large. Iâll probably make a few for some of my Korean mounted fanta levers soon and experiment with some different shapes/tapers.
Anyone have a measurement for the diameter of the Fujin levers top? Iâm curious how much larger it is than the standard 30mm to 20mm.
38mm (10mm taper)

I have the FujinV2 with the clear/cloudy bat and it is 30mm to 20mm.
Those wood bats are nice lookinâ!
Not purple crowns but still quite dope
Hi everybody, I have a few questions, sry for my bad english in advance,
Back um T6 I used to play on a moded Saulabi 4k with Myeongshin Fanta lever, when TTT2 came out I ended up switching to JLF just because I was mostly playing on friends house and sticks, JLF was what everyone here uses.
With T7 around the corner I want to go back to Korean levers but I got so used to my big Hori case that I cant use de 4k on my lap anymore, its just too light e moves around too much, and the 203a dont fell as good as the sanwas, so the big question is, what is my best option for japanese mounted korean levers right now? Wich model fells more like a standard Myeongshin or what is the current most popular lever for japanese cases?
I was looking on the makestick.com store and saw some diferente stuff from crown, the 309 MJ and 309 helpme lever have diferente collars, how the MJ collar sits inside a standard japanese mount case? does the stick itself have to sit around lower in the case or it fits in the regular hole?
What would you guys recommend me getting back into korean levers? I playt mostly tekken but mess around in SF e GG fron time do time.
ty
I would recommend buying a 309MJ with a 55g tension grommet(11/10 the myoungshin tension) and 4 gsm v1623a3 micro switches, all available at makestick.com. The CWL 309MJ should perform as well as the standard helpme lever but allow for installation into Japanese cases without drilling.the helpme is the stick used in Korean T7 cabinets. The tension should be similar to a standard myoungshin, while the gsm v1623a3 are the same switches used by the myoungshin
@Flunders watch iplaywinners review on youtube. Also, your English is near perfect, you are Brazilian I believe.
