Got my hands on the Super Hwoarang kit earlier today and did a quick install on my Razer Panthera. For those wondering, the collar gate is the core piece that replaces a normal collar found in a Myoungshin Fanta lever so they can work on Japanese sticks.

Obviously I had to use a compatible mounting plate such as ones found in Crown’s M levers or the Kowal plate. I installed the core piece on my Kaze V2 lever and put it on my Panthera. The results were actually pretty good. Doing various movements felt on point like I was using the real deal collar. What I am gonna do later this week is test it on a Taeyoung and a Fujin lever.

Also included in the package I got was five plastic actuators (15.4, 15.6, 15.65, 15.8, 15.85mm), a shaft, a plastic spool/bushing and two white tops. The only real reason I got those tops was to complete my Green lever design!

For those wondering on how to get it, I got mine with help from someone in Korea. Super Hwoarang doesn’t want to worry about shipping fees outside Korea.

So I’ve recently been messing around again with Korean levers back from Hitbox. I’m using the Myoungshin Fanta as it seems more responsive especially in diagonals when compared to my 309 HelpMe. I have the Golden Fanta mod for it. I tried putting a balltop on it harkening back to my Japanese lever days and it sucked. Are Korean sticks generally just better with their normal battops? Just the way they are made is why they go with that because it’s better? Maybe it’s preference and the fact I haven’t used a balltop in so long but I couldn’t get combos to link in Tekken and I couldn’t dash properly, etc. Battops are better for Korean sticks ?

@VarmintBaby Even the lightest Korean stick is stiffer than your average Japanese stick. Ball tops sit much shorter than a bat top, so you don’t get the same amount of leverage as you would with a bat.

for the first batch of golden core will include 3 sping that I test for prototype. light, medium, and hard tension. but it will be better for us all try it yourself and give your tought.

light tension doesn’t work well, it make snap on one random direction due to the slim coil

medium tension. just perfect, now flaw or issue from my testing in the last couple days.

hard tension. this one is very tough to install. it hold the shaft very stong, and the battop/shaft is barely can rotate in the center. but for some may like this since it can help you hit direction more precise.

update. I input wrong qty last ninight apperently we still have 5 Golden Core in stock. grab it fast.

That wouldn’t be a bad idea to try out. You have the stuff we could do it with? Once the green lever stuff shows up (damn you EMS, lol) would be good to try that out.

There’s no need since you have the 7mm puujin shaft lol. That idea is only for ppl who do have it but yes I have everything you need to do it. Just keep your gf fanta shaft for gf actuators when you finally get it that is.

I will make restock of Golden Parts for next year.
The most requested feature is GF actuator to support Fujin Mounting plate. it seems that Fujin mounting plate add thickenss to the base, so the upper part of the actuator will hit it when pivoting.
so I try to add more height, hopefully it will add come clearence and won’t hit the fujin plate anymore.

since I don’t have fujin myself. can anyone confirm this will work?
left pink is the current GF actuator. Right Green is the new revision GF actuator to support fujin

yes, but it will be wobble. it much better use spring loaded.

This could be something or even a joke but I was tuning into Qudans’ stream and Knee fan Lan94 said that Knee is working with Crown on his own lever.

He did say “Knee 369 Lever” which could be trolling (it’s probably trolling). If it is true, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a new body design, a small actuator, a thin shaft, and uses the DX transparent tops found in the Infiltration and Crazy Dongpal levers. For those going to Evo Japan, make sure to investigate!

It is fascinating if he is opting for something new instead of sticking with the Green lever.
