@zero_requiem Is there a significant difference between having the microswitches further away with a large actuator vs closer together with a smaller actuator?
Ah i understand now, the problems is the same when i design buttom switch support for GFM, then i revised the hole to get slightly biger and solved.
For fujin maybe we can solve the issue by make the lower part of GFM actuator diameter smaller and top parts (the area hitting switch lever) thiner.
Good news
End of This month, R-Tech, my friend who have green lever from green arcade will visit me for installing GFM on his stick and attending small tournament in my town. I ask him to bring his green lever, Then I will have opportunity to break down all green lever parts and measure it my workshop. I will share it to you guys. Hopefully we can make 100% excact replica of this green lever.
With all of this knowledge youâve been gaining, have you given thought into making your own complete levers rather than just custom parts at some point?
âSo how about this for our next project:
making ultimate K-stick: Golden Parts + modular âfujinâ plate + âsuperWhoâ Collar. it wonât cheap, but it will be the complete K-stick Experience.
feel free to give your opinion or ideaâ
I somehow glossed over that, but that sounds like a fantastic idea!
Could get feedback on here to really nail down the best configuration or supply the various parts to allow the user to customize to their specifications. Like you said, probably wonât be cheap but worth it for some. Could even make a base model too or a 309MJ equivalent for those that donât want to convert their case to house a collared stick.
Hello All, Sorry for the long delay ( Workshop is Crazy Busy lately) but Now Golden Fanta and Golden Crown is ready for Order.
we only have 20set, so grab it fast.
please visit http://arcadestick-indonesia.com/ to place an order.
sounds great wazwuz liking the modular idea for fusion type plate gonna be even better now you have a actual green lever to work with
just my opinion but i would use plastic or delrin when you design fusion type plate as it acts as a small gate having a metal one rubbing it is gonna be a no no
either way youâll figure it out looking forward to the end result
It changes the feel completely. With smaller actuators you kinda need the switch positioning changed depends tho really. There are a lot of factors involved
Unfortunately I failed my mission to get Kneeâs Green lever for personal and scientific use. Itâs mostly because of tournament and it would be rude to ask after he got eliminated in pools.
I will say that I showed Knee my Taeyoung lever with Golden Fantaâs 8mm shaft, 35A grommet and the discontinued 14.75mm actuator from the first pressing. He didnât try it in tournament but he really liked the feel of the combination. I let him know that the parts are from you @wazwuz and he didnât forget about it. He doesnât really have the time to experiment with it. I also referred him to the Taeyoung on Etokki. Hopefully he has some time to try it out after this.
I did try his Green lever as a comparison and itâs really close to my combination. The only obvious differences are that there is more give on the initial push and the sling back to the neutral. It might seem weird to explain but when you try R-Techâs lever @wazwuz you might get it. I think it might be the metal bushing for the grommet but thatâs a guess.
To @blankaex I talked to Saint about the switches problem. The reason for his claim was because switches can vary in feel which I get. One set of Panasonic switches I got has one switch that triggers a bit differently. He did say he used a set of Panasonic switches for the finals.
Thank you, I glad Knee doesnât forget abut Golden Fanta I gave him, hopefully he will test it and can give feedback to us.
Yes, the only difference is the Metal bushing, and make sense it will give more on the initial push.
I think I will use Omron Switch on my new Signature level.
I see this on Saint Tweet, interesting he didnât use any metal actuator
