Do I need to drill a bigger hole in the Qanba Q2 Glow for the SDL-301-DX to fit?
@LunaPost From what Iāve read in the past in terms of fitting the sdl-301 into a qanba the dragon is the only one deep enough to fit it. As for drilling a 35mm hole the infiltration has a chopped collar so no you wouldnāt need to drill it.
@zero_requiem so what if I played with no bottom plate on the whole stick, would that solve the problem?
@LunaPost Theoretically that would work, but I doubt thatād be very comfortable or practical at all.
@LunaPost that also depends on how you play. Like do you play with fightstick on your lap or on a table? Like @abev said itās got going to be comfortable.
Honestly this is my first version of the Kaze, but I find the movement to be pretty good. @RequiemZero would be able to give you more of an accurate option since his movement is much better than mine.

I gotta say after almost a week on the Etokki Omni Korean stick, this is the best stick Iāve owned or played on.
Iāve played on MAS, mini mas, sf anniversary, hori 1-4, TE, TES, shoebox Sanwa, vewlix, and probably more, Namco yellow ps1, dreamcast green goblin agetec.
HRAP 4 KAI was good too.
@zero_requiem your opinion on kaze v3 does it worth it ? hows ewgfs hows backdash and movement ? kaze v3 vs fujin v2 go 
@Marios the kaze is definitely worth it if you favor short throw. I donāt have any issues on both in terms of ewgf, cd, kbd. I never miss diagonals with any of these levers. Only thing I didnāt like on the fujin is instant run but Iām used to it meow so it doesnāt bother me. I favor wider throw on my joysticks so Iāll pick the fujin any day but depending on play style they are equal in my books. Very nice to have the kaze since it doesnāt need am5s at all to be good and I prefer then with all a3s. Fujin on the other had is absolutely terrible with all a3/a2s.
@LunaPost thatās all good then. I play with the bottom cover on my omni when Iām testing parts.
@evilj agreed the omni is by far my favorite out of the 8 fightsticks I have lol. I have an allfighsticks coming in this week and I have a feeling it will knock the omni etokki to number 2. The omni is feels very solid but the all fightstick takes that feeling to the next level. Only thing I dislike about the omni is thereās not much room in the front to rest your palms but Iām used to it meow.

Anyone know if my Crown 301 will fit the Mad Catz TES+?
The only thing is every time I open up, take out put back mount Omni, the alignment or something feels off. I just ruined it at the moment
Turns out I had the plastic cylinder piece , the piece you have on the bottom of the shaft before the eclip, needed to be flipped. Such a small detail and the moves and feel completely change.
Damn ya the actuator on the taeyoung is kinda like a cone so if toots backwards then youāre activating the micro switches much later. I use a 15mm golden fanta actuator on mine so its about 1.5mm smaller than stock.
am5s come stock on the fujin. I was saying that I tried the fujin with a2s and a3s but they were terrible so I put am5s back. I still use A2 for down tho
oh , ill try that since i really loved kaze idea and cant get it off my head . i cant remember what was the microswitches on my fujin v2 , all i remember that they were from Thailand and it had crooked metal connectors. @zero_requiem
It seems based on what I read that A2 microswitches are still useful for down directions. Iām still waiting for the old A3s to return, till then how useful would it be to use A2 for down with the new A3s on a Crown 309mj? Iām thinking of using that after I install the 35a shore grommet for faster execution since the 45a one was a little too stiff for me. Thanks!
@Marios since you have the v2 kaze you can always just try using all a3s and it will pretty much be the same as the v3. Only difference though is the grommet on the v3 no longer has 3 tiny holes drilled on cardinal directions. Pretty sure the v3 has a softer grommet to compensate for that. Those switches are am5s although Iām not sure why they bent the .187 connectors.
@AndymanZERO Iāve tried all am5s/a3s with a2 for down on the crown 309 and I find it doesnāt work as well as the fujin, myoungshin and taeyoung. With the 309 I prefer to have all the same switches. Then again everyone is different so it doesnāt hurt to try.
