Is there anywhere to buy additional grommets for the 309MJ?

Probably just wait till @wazwuz drops another Golden Crown kit, which comes with 4 grommets along with 3 different levers and actuators.

@stringfellow fair enough. I believe I found a set up that has ridiculous cd speed on taeyoung lastnight. I’m using 3 am5s with 1 a2 for down input, stock grommet, 9mm golden fanta shaft with 15mm actuator. It’s just as fast as the fujin if not faster but with the lighter tension I don’t get tired very easily which is nice.

Find me a couple of AM5 switches and I’ll gladly emulate. All I can do now is hear how good these are and unable to find them anywhere. I see Gersungs everywhere I look but none of the Pannys.

Ok so I just tried the 45A grommet with the 309 MJ and its’s way too stiff with the sanwa shaft adapter. Electrics came out nice but I don’t use Mishimas and after a few minutes my hands were too fatigued.

A few months back I bought some Gersung A3 (V0323A3) microswitches from Focus Attack and these works great with quick response. But now it’s giving out and needed some to replace. Then I just bought the Gersung A3 (V1623A3) microswitches from Focus Attack a week ago and notice that it actuates later than the V0323A3. Where can I find some V0323A3??

I can confirm it fits in the Hori Rap N with no issue

which grommets are compatible with the 309mj? I don’t see any on focus attack? do I have to order from someone else? I’d rather order from FA cause they’re really close to me.

@EndRant the 45A grommet for the sdl-301 from focus attack will work if you need stiffer one.

So is the SDL-301 good for Street Fighter? Ive been playing on a Hayabusa with Silent Omrons and a batt top but am interested in the Infiltration Lever.

Personally I find it to work better in 2D fighting games since 3D movement doesn’t feel optimal with that lever.

No worries. I’m assuming you’re using a 25A grommet right? I think the 35A from the helpme levers would probably work best since the 45A might be too heavy. Take that with a grain of salt since I like heavy grommets and my favorite set up is the fujin.

@the phantomnaut agreed the infiltration lever has a very weird feel to it.

@zero_requiem I use a 2lb spring on my hayabusa stick so the 45A grommet seems about the equivalent of it in terms of resistance. thanks.

With the Golden Fanta released, is there any reason to opt for a Taeyoung rather than a Myoungshin? Back in the day, I remember wanting a Taeyoung due to people raving about its hard grommet. I’m curious if it’s still worth getting. Bear in mind, I’m not a hardcore K-stick user. The Taeyoung wasn’t available when I bought my Omni years ago.

There is wider travel distance on the collar gate on the Taeyoung so it’s perfect for those use the thinnest Golden Fanta shaft. The switches are closer to the middle as well so you can expand coverage with a Golden Fanta actuator.

I play Mishima so I’ve been putting up with it. My 1P wavedash has never been faster. But it just feels like inputting things on reaction has suffered as I need to put more force into moving the lever. I think the 35A grommet would be perfect but unfortunately there’s no way to get one without either getting slammed by shipping costs or buying the whole Helpme lever.

I’d love Focus Attack forever if they offered that grommet and more parts for Korean stick customization.
