Kula, huh? I can help with that. 
-her jumping B has really good priority, make good use of it
-Counter Shell can reflect any projectile, even SDM types and Rugal’s Kaiser Wave. In addition to that, it can be comboed into as well (try close s. C --> cancel after the first hit --> QCB+A/C, or s. A --> QCB+A/C). [causes counter wire on counter]
-Critical Ice (df+C) is a very effective long range poke, and can be comboed into her close s. C or her close s. D. Be careful when using it around physical counters like Seth’s, though. [causes counter wire on counter]
-her slide (df+b) comes in handy for tripping enemies that are a bit too far to trip with her crouching D
-her crouching B is very useful for poking, be sure to keep that in mind (sample combos: c. B --> c. B --> c. B --> df+B; c. B --> c. A --> df+B or f, d, df+A/C)
-the stand follow-up (f+B) for the B version of Lay Spin (QCB+B/D) is useful for zoning, and even tends to eat other projectiles
-the C version of Diamond Breath (QCF+A/C) is very useful for set-ups (sample combos: QCF+C --> run in --> close s. C --> f+A --> QCB+B --> f+D --> f, d, df+A; [corner] QCF+C --> run in --> close s. C --> QCF+A --> QCB+B --> f+B --> f, d, df+A/C or QCB+A/C)

That pretty much sums up my brother’s Kula game. I’ll add some other stuff that I’ve noticed:
Her Counter Shell can also be used as an anti-pressure move. Whenever someone jumps in or runs in hoping to pressure or attack, throw out a Counter Shell. Even at wake-up, I throw out a Counter Shell if they are close enough. It does good damage for a move that’s supposed to be a counter fireball, and it Critical Wires if you hit them as a counter.
Mix-up your Lay Spins, but try not to whiff her Sit follow-up. It doesn’t push back as far as Stand, and it brings you closer to your opponent.
All or her normal B moves are great. Jumping B beats out many things, and her standing B can be used as her primary poke move for advancing in. Her crouching B can hit up to 4 times before having to hit another move (mainly df + B)
That sounds like some good stuff. But i use jump in C as a cross over attack for her. I think it works great. Jump in B hasn’t that succesful for me.
i will take you up on that offer prodigy… ive traveled places looking for comp as well in 2k3. ive been to all the places that had KOF2k3 in town which is only culebra, SW, and SP. I am sorry to say that ive been there on weekends where they say, " theres comp on this/that night around this/that time". I’ve been very dispapointed in traveling to each location only to find out they arent as good as people brag or say. The only top comp to me when playing serious are Juan and Jose. Others at culebra are good dont get me wrong. But ive been to SW on weekends before i started going to culebra and theres nothing great about that place at all. That has the worse fighting game cabinets ever. Especially in 2k3. sticks are horrible, the B button goes off and on and the sound is shitty. I’ve even been to austin to play 2k3 and comp over there isnt good at all. The only place i am willing to travel is Houston for the regionals. But not to mexico. And what part of mexico has up to 80 people??? ive heard only of 45 tops for 2k3 and most is 2k2 and 98 over there.
Basically i will go for $15.00 on our first match. And if your good as you say you are i will bet higher to beat you.
And dont have somebody vouche for you. Like getting some pro from mexico and claiming your prodigy. ive had a run in like that b4 and threw the bet off… anywas send me some pms so we dont waste web space
So this is what I missed, first off Prodigy you take this game to seriously, I think everyone will agree, this game it meant for fun and verbally attacking Gene is just childish seeing that you don’t even know him. Plus you’re 14 IF you lose where are you going to get $150 to GIVE away? And just so I know who you are, did you cry when you lost to a girl named Jen, who uses Mai, Iori, Andy, or Yuri? (No Insult Indended) Plus like Spin said, SWM has SHITTY sticks, sound and it’s in a Tekken cabbinet so arn’t the buttons SVC style? I went when there was 2k2 and there was noone spectacular, I went about 50/50.

back on topic… just to let you 2k2 fans know my angel is becoming pretty good. Shes freakin hard to learn… any ANGEL TIPS…
On the other note. Any top tier person EX MvC2. JW 3time champ. travels all over the place to major tournies just to uphold his name sometimes but most part for money.what i am saying is this prodigy should of entered my tourney i held to gain his GOD status.
but tell your friend i plan on having a tournament on the 17th of august. entry fee is $4.00 last time had 22 people entered. should be more this time since more prizes but well see. anyways ummm

I’m planning on making some different team other than the people I normally use. Somebody name me characters to use. I wanna “broaden my horizon.” Any character will do except for these:
Kyo, Kusanagi, Iori, K’, Both Yashiros, and Both Chris
i say angel, seth, or choi… i am trying to use seth really good since nobody uses him. maybe i can turn him into a really good char. like i did with tizoc so everybody else can use him…

Well by the looks of it i need to work on my andy, kim, and robert.
I’m semi-there with Angel. Choi’s real easy to get a basics grasp of, I just have to work on timing and ranging, and Seth is my “needs a lot of work” person.
Anyone else have any suggestions one characters.
I’d recommend trying Robert out for size. I think he has some good priority on a few of his moves, and his speed can make up for any weaknesses that he might have…

didnt know it was the middle of the match but 2 hours of 2k2 is enough… i asked him later on what would you rather play. answer 2k3. anyways…

Update on other character usages:
Angel: Got her main chains and mix-ups working. I just need to work on reflexes for her super, and when to use it,. Also, I’m working on a teleport strat.
Choi: Going pretty easy. Cross-up j.C, and standing jabs own all. Still perfecting the timimg on c.B -> c.A -> qcf, hcb + K combo.
Andy: I’ve used him before, so it was not as hard as I originally thought. Learned the wake-up rdp + K, and did one of his MAX combos twice. His empty jump into hcf + C works wonders.
Seth: He’s needs to be a balanced character to be used effectively. Learn the counters, and abuse his f+A.
Basic Combos:
close C -> f+B -> f+A
close D -> b+A -> hcb +K -> f+K
Advanced (Somewhat) combos:
jump in D -> close D -> b+A -> qcf,hcb + K -. qcf x 2 + P
I’ll work with Robert along with May Lee and Takuma as another team.
Any more suggestions welcome.
