KOF XI Thread :: Ver 2.0

I think Kensou suffers from low damage output, although he is in the same class of characters like Eiji aka keep away + semi rushdown type.

I want to put Kula in my team but I loooooove having Mailin as a leader, that hammer is so random and it hurts so god damn much.

Careful with that hammer. A lot of random shit beats it cleanly even after the super flash. For instance, Ryo’s DP+C.

it has hardly invincibility but it is instant. i think you can punish kulas lk hurricane kick with the hammer afterwards.

hammer on counter hit = OMGWTF damage

i fooled around with ash, kula, malin for a bit back then. pretty fun team with really good chemistry.

Sweep + LDM with Malin is too good.

I’ll go with Ash, Kula, Malin then.

u can otg with the hammer. but too bad they can roll out of it.

against some moves that cant be rolled out of like ralfs unblock uppercut, u can QS into malin and hammer then when they are on the ground.

But, i’m always playin my friend, and the second he notices my dash or crazy punch cancel, he’ll punish me, I only watched it once, I might watch it again.
there were about 3-4 mixups that almost didn’t garantee being punished.
Long stary short I get punished on Vanessa mixups, so I have yet too figure out which ones are punish proof.

I don’t see that many Malin players anymore.
At this arcade I go to every1 (including me) used to play Malin.

my team order allows me 2 QS after a certain combo.
Jazu/Vanessa/Gato (L)

Good infinite startup:
Jazu: lk, hp, hcb+lk xx QS, infinite

Very few mixups in the game are absolutely safe. If you’re just trying to mix up while your opponent is standing around chilling, of course you’re going to get hit. The best time to mix up is when you have your opponent knocked down, launched in the air and reset, or while they’re in blockstun at the very least.

heh, i never thought of it that way. other kof games are the same, you leave yourself vulnerable if your opponent isnt scared of doing something.

It can be either of those, but these days, the latter is far more common.

I’ve noticed there is alot of Jazu hate. Why?
I think Jazu sux if you don’t know how to use him inteligently (I know I spelled that wrong).

Here is what I find in most ppl’s Jazu:
Slow, camper, no combos, spam projectiles, SPAM QCB+P

my Jazu:
Rushdown, smart, punishes, good combos, good use of Magic Series

I have yet to see a good Jazu, and Jazu will definitly be 1 of the chars I’m not gonna drop.

P.S. Can any1 help me find some good Jazu vids.
