Yes it is…until it gets its American release.
so that essentially means I need either a jap ps2 or swap magic etc =/
Absolutely…
so any info on this?
k3 knows beter then to play on arrange!
It’s a bug, it happens when you do the Deadly Flower after a backdash, he doesn’t jump while doing the 3rd hit.
It works in Arcade mode, I don’t know if it still does in Arrange
Hey peeps, I just got into this game and I hear a lot about Oswald. Can anyone by chance explain to me some the advantages he has. I would read the thread but it quite long.
Just so you know, saying i would read the thread but it’s long normally = temp Ban by mr.Kaneda, our friendly moderator. So umm, I’d suggest you just read the thread.
Understood. Don’t wanna get da ban. No, no.
Something to answer your question you posed to me on AIM k4…
You DO NOT have invincibility during a Save Shift…so if you can bait it then you can punish if you anticipate it early…I should record an exhibition of this in example to show you what I am talking about.
Only way I stumbled across this is I was going over my Xi SBO vid notes right now and this is what I found out…because Gato punishes the other character that tags in OFF A SAVE SHIFT with either of his supers…Then I was able to duplicate it in training… It takes precise timing or you will trade or it will beat you…
And it counts as Counter hit…meaning possibly Ozzies df+A on counter is guaranteed on a Save Shift??
Try this and I will show it in my exhibition video soon…
As they SS out do Ozzies counter…they will fly RIGHT INTO IT…then you can do whatever the hell you want!!
:badboy:
Kula and Ozzies LDMS are practically guaranteed if you anticipate a SS!!!
The countering of Saving Shifts are covered in the Challenge Mode of kofXI on console.
Yes it is but I recall K4 asking me a question about it so I just wanted to answer that for him…
Im not talking about saving shifts, that is pressing AC/BD when BEING HIT by opponent.
Im talking about that emergency evade shift that comes out when u press AC/BD when u r BLOCKING ur opponent attacks.
I wanted to know if the incoming character has a degree of invincibility, say when he is in the air, entering the screen till they touch the ground, or/and if they have invincibility during a split moment after they do touch the ground.
Nope they don’t have it at all…I’ve tested that too…they don’t have any invincibility when they are flying from the ground…
Just tested it…
Now the priority is good but it aint invincible and can induce counterhit!!!
Silver can counter QS and SS attempts…
Btw, yesterday after the tourney I was playing with two guys. One of em really like to mash on the qcb+A in order to do the deadly flower chain with Iori properly. The “glitch’” that evilmuffinman posted and that u can see in youtube can be done in the arcade. I saw it, but I dont know how to do it.
Posted already (and on that video):
backdash, QCB+Px3
omg i broke kof11!
4give me! ;-;
so whats with hayate being SS class?
The Japanese have him ranked both SS and E for two reasons. He’s got almost no bad matches(Sans Kula maybe) which would make him SS but he does have unsafe as hell moves and he’s hard to learn and use(Not as hard as Gai though) whihc makes him D or E class.
Gai is actually easy as hell to use, once you get the initial wtf phase. Most of his movelist is actually pretty intuitive, but he gets raped so hard by grapplers.
Yeah. If you’re up against Ramon, Clark, and/or Tizoc you’re fucked. I still think Gai’s learning curve is higher than Hayate’s.
