The juggling is even more crazy in XI than it is in NGBC. His B&B combo in NGBC in the corner was jump in with pretty much any attack, close C, QCF+D,D, HCB+B, HCB+D, then DP+A three times. In XI, this becomes QCF+D,D, HCB+B, QCF+A, wait, QCF+A, wait, QCF+A,QCF+A, wait, QCF+B,B, THEN three uppercuts. It does way too much damage, somewhere around 70%, for no fucking meter. You can also do it from the modified Dokugami chain to do like, 80%. He just does a whole lot more damage than he did in NGBC.

about ex kyo I don’t think this is the thread to discuss this, but basically what makes him overpower is his down B into forward B and his RED kick wich is very very safe to use at anytime. it seems that some people believe he is exactly like ngbc, imo I don’t think so, he is better and “cooler looking” for all of those who care ;). Geese might be able to give you guys some better info in the differences, he is an expert in ngbc, I’m just the kof xi champion.

The Tilt out in West Covina has KOFXI in that setup. They don’t care about it much though the buttons/sticks are fucked to hell.

Seeing as how matches take soooooooo long and tournies for this game run forever, have the damage settting on high so they can just end faster. I’m more than sure you’ll see more happy faces this way. Also, have the speed on max as well.

I’ve been trying to find setups for this Shen Woo QS combo that I saw in a vid:
Cornered opponent, Ryo jumps in with C or D, close C into C Zanretsu Ken, QS on last hit to bring in Shen, QCF+A hold for short period, release to juggle, then do QCFx2+K after you recover to juggle again.
So far I have found two characters other than Ryo I can do this with, Gato and Elizabeth (both of them QSing off of their respective supers). Trying to find some more, as I want my teams to mesh as fluidly as possible.
^ You should just use a character that can knock your opponent into the air in the corner. IE: Kensou’s supers.
I lost to fast Gato players and I still think it was fun ( better than turtle players )
But I came back and beat them with Kensou and Eiji and they got fucking pissed and slammed the machine.
If the game is true to the arcade in every detail, I don’t mind who I face, it just makes me develop better strategies:tup:
The problem is that this doesn’t always work. A good example is with Gai, if I QS on Gai Driller (which launches) I don’t always have time to charge Shen’s QCF+A for long enough so that it will put the opponent into a juggle state again. Kensou’s I have yet to try.
BOF…if you watch the combo vids you will see what to use…I charge Shen’s qcf+p after Elizabeths uppercut super the first hit…I QS after that then I can charge Shen’s punch fully… in the corner
