KOF XI for PS2: Arcade or Arranged mode

I say let the people who attend SNK tournies decide what the standad will be AKA the people who run the tournies at BYOC at evo. Since most of you won’t even show up for a KOF tourney it shouldn’t matter. Also this is similar to how some people in the GG community were complaining that slash wasn’t arcade perfect, but were never ever gonna see slash cab. in their lives.

Caliagent: I see you know whats up, when there is people who talk online and wont even go to their local arcade to face a challange:rofl: , IMO they have no word or saying in what to do in tournaments. The EVO tourney that we do every year for KOF will be in ARRANGE mode, and if anybody has problem with SHOW UP to EVO and talk to me, and I will do my best to help you out. We will do two tourneys if there are enough players ar EVO who want to participate, btw all of the K-FORCE will be entering both tourneys.

Im here showing some friends this beautiful game called KOFXI. Since there are only a few arcades around here that have the there wasnt that much hype game but now that is out for PS2 they want to join the fun (and also that I brought 20 copies for them) We also had a little debate about ARCADE and ARRANGE MODE, I was trying to explain them the differences between both of the systems for about 45min at my friends house, and they were still not sure of what to believe, so I turn on the PS2 pick KULA in ARCADE mode, go into training, I approch the CPU, do a down D into leader and I hear 25 people FUCK THAT SHIT (but in spanish). Change it to ARRANGE, do the same shit, and I hear is a great sence of reliefe. After that we play 14hrs none stop in arrange mode:looney: . It only took me 30sec to prove why arcade mode is broken. Why? This people dont give a shit about graphic, who is in the game, if its arcade perfect or any of that bs. They only want to play a well balanced KOF.

P.S. I have taken in consideration banning Ex Kyo from the tourney in ARRANGE MODE only, he will be allowed in the ARCADE MODE tourney IF we have one but only him all othere new characters will be allowed in both tourneys.

Could someone explain why he’s broke in Arranged Mode compared to Arcade Mode, I haven’t unlocked him yet to find out myself. But I’m guessing the obvious, huge combo ability, damage beast, etc.

in order to get EX Kyo defeat challenge 30. All he will do is guard cancels and all u have to do is defeat him.

I think the problem is that EX Kyo can do that kind of stuff in Arrange mode while no one else can.

EX kyo is overpowered compared to the other characters in ARRANGE MODE, but in ARCADE he is just as broken as GATO and KULA so I dont see the big deal for people who play in ARCADE MODE. Personally I was really getting into Ex Kyo but I realize he is a little overpowered in ARRANGE MODE, but if I ever play arcade mode again (chances of that happening are 1 in a million) I would use Ex Kyo for sure.

Hmmm I dunno about EX Kyo. He seems to have all of his crazy combo/juggle crap from NGBC only it’s faster/cooler looking in KOFXI IMO.
