KOF Maximum impact regulation a thread

I just got the game about a week ago, and I just wanted to post some Makoto/Geese combo I came up with. They are all garunteed and non techable:

Those are pretty good BnB and semi-advanced. The one with deadly rave could’ve been cancled into Rashamon for some extra damage.

Thanks to checking suggestions from that vid I see that Kim has Phoenix Cancel back. =x Now I gotta learn how to do that on stick consistently to have a retarded high-low game.

Beat the crap out of people. But seriously Xiao Lon is a very good (and hard) character.

In my personally opinion she is probably one of the more balanced character, to were she can be aggresive and turtle (depending on your play style).

For agro players, I would suggest using her normal stance and her second stance (22B I think). Her AAABCD I believe launches the opponent to where you can combo into 421A/B/C/D xx super (other than level three). The 421A/B/C/D command works the same as Duo Lon’s (except looks different). Your going to be mostly using her first and second level super. Usually after her 236A/C(x3) your going to SC into her level one for more damage faster, or using her 421A/B/C/D into her level two without having to SC.

For turtle players, I would probably suggest switching inbetween her third and first stance. Her third stance deals the most damage but is also the slowest. She has some great launchers out of her third stance and after words relaunching with either 421A/B/C/D or 2BB (or 2DD I can’t remember). Most of the time your going to be aiming for using her level three super, comboing into is rather easy to be honest. Afterwards aim to combo into her level 1 for huge damage.

Just play around with her specials and find out what works for your style.

thanks I’ve been using the AAABCD combo alot. Is the third stance where she fights with her back turned around:confused:?. But you’re I’ve been playing alot with her recently and she is a hard character to use and the most balanced. I had a couple of wins with her:sweat:. Thinks for some of the other in regards to the 421 A/B/C/D,and i think you mean 2DD bc I’ve tired that move as well.

The third stance (I believe) is the one where she is bending over (no pun). 22C to switch to it.

Wow good shit very nice Kyo indeed. That Chae was good too i didn’t know she had that much in her arsenal. I just got this game and i have to say so far i’m enjoying it alot. Thanks for posting the vid.

XD I hate that I still can’t connect two slide kick (using Chae) into the hockey kick. The timing just hurts my hands.

You don’t need 2 slides, you can do Hakki Kyaku->Kuu Sa Jin XX Houou off a single one at most distances. The Hop D XX Hishou Kyaku XX Kuu Sa Jin XX Houou was listed in the last Arcadia, and Kim has a similar setup even though his doesn’t work as well without a wall assist.

The Kims really only need B,D,df+D, AABC(Chae’s AA,d+C,u+C), and df+B,B(,b+D) as far as Stylish Arts go. With Hakki Kyaku XX Houou, Hakki Cancel, and Neri Chagi they have a good number of high-low mixups for decent damage.

IIRC df+B,B XX Hakki Kyaku XX Kuu Sa Jin, Shakka Shu with Kim does as much as a clean hit Houou Kyaku. All off a quick low. =D

Oh, and TK’d Houou Tenbu Kyaku for ambiguous crossup on wakes is top tier.

i hope ignition releases it here, this seems like heaps more fun than mi2.

I doubt they will it’s really more of an “enhancement” with new stages and characters and not an actual sequel… The 3 on 3 gameplay makes it feel more like a traditional KOF game than the other 2 games. Hopefully it will get ported but your best bet is to just import the japanese version it’s worth it.

That KDB guy is a beast. I must learn Kyo now.
