kind of pushing it? nigga took over half the galaxy lol…goku def pushed that shit. lol. he gave 0 fucks about the universe clearly. for all the heroic shit goku does vegeta is the only one who thought grand scheme of things. vegeta would have tried to stop frieza no matter if he had earth in his sights. But in actuality for goku, only cause earth was potentially in danger is why he really gave a fuck. if he were able to bring people back without going to namek he would have.
I can’t think of a single time Goku spared someone not named Piccolo that wasn’t hella suspect. I mean I don’t want him to be ruthless like Vegeta and Piccolo and I understand why he’s an idiot but stil;l, not only letting Freiza live but giving that dude energy to get away? That shit was stupid.

In that moment goku showed his pure hearted sprit because be was able to look past a tyrant and see a man begging for his life. It’s a quality that sets him apart from most fictional characters. It’s why superman has been so endearing for decades because be represents the potential for mankind. This film reduced him to a flawed killer who now has the moral standings of wolverine.
i honestly think piccolo and vegeta just always thought big picture…goku literally cant do that. sped class level thinking. i guess you can say vegeta was ruthless right up til buu saga…but he was also thinking grand scheme of things. piccolo was def not ruthless once he had gohan.

Superman should not be concerned about where a tanker explodes given that there’s two Kryptonians fighting right next to it. It doesn’t matter what he does: It’s going to explode. A convoluted plan to slow it down would only work if the viewer willfully ignores the fact that Zod is right there for ten seconds. It’s going to explode in any case, whether there or thirty feet from there is irrelevant. The movie only had instances of Superman going out of his way to save bystanders when it actually fit, such as preventing that big dude from killing soldiers.

The Superman vs the Elite movie completely missed the point of the comic it’s based on when they had it so the Elite lose their powers. The Evil Superman scene was godlike though.
