There’s still 4-5 months til its release, we can try to get them to use GGPO or a better netcode. If it causes a delay, then so be it, better online is the about the only way this game will succeed.

Online is still in early development (fortunately), so hopefully they’ll get it right by release.

That same story with the 1up pic also said that “Atlus choose to localize KOF13 after passing on it’s predecessor specifically because the netcode issues that plagued KOF12’s online matches has been resolved”

That’s made me feel quite a bit better, Thanks for posting it. Hopefully SNK will deliver some solid Online code this time… Personally, I’d prefer a great Online Experience over any Console only Characters.

But…post XII launch fiasco SNK netcode is the same shit as SFIV. It’s amazing how it doesn’t play as well when most of your matches are connecting to Mexico or something instead of having more nearby opponents.
Well, we’ll see I guess, but this pretty much guarantees first day buys are going to be a step into the wilderness.
KOF XII Netcode Is nothing like Sf4 Netcode. At All. I played over 1000 matches and never once had a “good” connection.
