Take your usual KOF roster of 40+ characters, cut that in half(and not even a good half), then have the worst netcode you could possibly imagine–netcode so bad, that even other SNK games stopped and looked on in shock.

Ae has been released, MK, and MVC3 has been released. To go along with BBCS2 being out already. What will have KOFXIII be lost in the shuffle? Fighting games are already niche, so it’s competition would be NBA2k11, WWE’12, and Madden. No way ANY fighting game competes with those franchises.
October 2011 though? Sweet only 4 more months, damn you fighting games giving me stuff to look foward to.
Hoping they fix the bugs, and put in new characters. Please give me Lucky/Heavy D/Battler and Geese/Krauser/Big
Buggy as fuck, netcode was shit, zero content, gameplay was boring and characters were limited to half their usual moveset.

There is no other major fighting game coming out in the fall, so KOFXIII will have no sales comp with other fighters and they can sell more copies to fighting game fans.

I don’t care if the online for this is ass, I’m gonna buy it and swim through it because it’s bloody KOF and it’s not Mash Fighter IV. 
A Jan 2012 UK release would not surprise me at all. I’ll probably grab the US version, like I did with KOF 12… Still very thankful that we got that at least.
