It was hard for me because I’m accustomed to stance changing lower for resets and such. Now that i’m stance changing higher I’m transitioning consistently.
Edit: Yup, now I’ve got the infinite down.

So since we’re doing the glaive dive, it removes the flying screen and hard knockdown from S so it’s back to it’s usual knock-down. Resets anybody?
Air-grab option-select when you sense something’s wrong with your infinite timing?
Then you TAC to Doom for insult to injury and a dead character.
Does amaterasu have any combos that use vergils rapid slash assist?
Ok I realise this sounds kinda dumb but I need help, sometimes when I try to use the headbutt groundbounce midscreen after j.MHHH, it simply whiffs on the opponent. Is there any specific timing or spacing to this? It always seemed really simple so I’m probably just overthinking it but I swear I’m dropping it more often than I should
Do S /\ B-B-C-C-C xx qcf+C (ie add a B)
Is that all there is to it? Wow.
Thanks!
Could any one help me with Amaterasu BnB I assume that the first page isnt updated?
Should I make a new combo thread? This one was good except that it hasn’t really been updated in awhile, there’s stil Vanilla stuff in there… I know I can make a good thread, though, keep the OP updated like I’ve done with Spencer… Would be better for new players to have details on good combos, not just link Honzo’s video and say “Uh here” every time people ask what’s good.
I was actually thinking the same thing and was starting to organize all my notes/vids, heh. I saw you asked over at Task’s too; If you’d like, I wouldn’t mind redoing the Ammy thread, to take one thing off your plate.
But… if you wanna do your whole team, don’t let me stop you. The Spencer thread is on point.

This would help a lot I really would enjoy knowing what combos I should be doing?
I have an article that tries to give some insight on some of the combos that you guys could link bc I already forsaw this problem. But its a drop in the bucket of what should be said but it is a start. Its in the description of me ammy video.
Why are you here? SKILLLEVEL… DROPPING!
But yeah, your series is da bess,

Hey guys and gals, sorry I don’t have time to keep the thread updated anymore. Feel free to copy/paste anything of use.
…and for what it’s worth, I vote Stark makes the new thread. cheers
+1 on new thread. Your Spencer thread is so well-made that I managed to create a serviceable Spencer without having to ask around for combos.
Also, I’m assuming that last piece is directed at me since I’m the one doing that. When 95% of Ammy players anchor her, I thought the best thing to do was to link the video with the most solo Ammy combos. :x
Hey there ammy players! I’m trying to think of some good ways to combo into Vipers assist for my team (Vipe, Dante, Ammy), but I’m having some trouble. I know I do do stuff like stance cancle glave ground bounce XX QCF L xx H XX FWD H call viper assit QCF L stuff but I was wondering if I could get more milage off of it. I use her burning kick assit BTW. Any help would be appreciated! I know you guys have some very intutive combos so let me know what my options are!
With that assist, I would worry less about combos, and more about highlow mixups. Ammy/Jam session should fulfill your assisted combo needs.

I guess but I still feel like BK is a great combo extender. I guess ill grind it out in training mode more.
When in glaive stance, after doing a “c.l -> c.M -> c.H -> Thunder Edge” combo I find it difficult to connect a jab or headbutt after the first Thunder Edge. This is mostly when in online play, but I drop it on occasion in the training room, too. Is there any trick to this that I should know, or is it really just a matter of timing it better?
Its char specific to an extent. Some chars you pause a bit between c.C xx edge (this is most often the case) , some you do fast as possible. Some chars you pause between edge > s.A (rare, don’t even know if it’s real, or if I’m just f’ing up)
Off the top of my head : Wolvie, mags, sent, raccoon, phx, zero, tron, doom should be the chars you practice it against. If you can do it on all those chars, that should cover all of the weight/size classes in the roster (again this is off the top of my head).
