Kibbles n' Bits: The Amaterasu Combo Thread

@Stark What is the loop your using there for Ammy’s infinite. I’m starting to learn Ammy and she’s my anchor so that will be good to know

Dash up glaive :f::h::h::h::h: repeated endlessly.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I didn’t realize it was that simple.

Seeing as how I don’t see the comment there any more, I assume you slayed it. Some people can’t read titles. There’s no reason to bother with them. Usually, someone else will correct them and they get some thumbs-up.

It’s on the youtube comments page, not the SRK comments page.

LOOOOOOOOOOL.

That’s where I checked.

It’s clearly there though o_o written by tormenter91. Someone even replied to it.

Hmm…

I only saw it now because someone replied to it. o_O

I’m throwing Ammy on as anchor to my team; Hulk/Strange/X. As someone who spends more time in the lab than playing other people, (crap internet) I really prefer to practice the more advanced combos, even if there’s a simpler way to do the same damage. I figure this character probably has some total nonsense with that weapon change of hers. I’d really appreciate if anyone could post their most unnecessary combos with assists and without.

After Okami Shuffle just wait for the Ice to start, x factor, then air dash and press S, this will get ammy to the ground and close to the opponent before they hit the ground. Then just weapon change, S, air m x head charge, charged H, land, infinite
I posted this about a week ago, check it out for TAC’s

I run Ammy anchor and have been trying to come up with something for TAC combo that is more than just m, m, h, h, h, qcf h etc… So far I’ve come up with a few things.

TAC up, H, H, H x weapon change beads), M, beads H x weapon change glaive, df H, wait till ammy’s glaive hits the ground x Okami shuffle.
After the glaive hits the ground you can whiff a TAC (up or side are a lot easier), land, qcf l x divine instruments (or snap back). If the combo before the TAC is long then whiffing the TAC, landing, doing S into tiger knee shuffle won’t work as hitstun decay will kick in and they will pop out of the S before shuffle comes out. A version of this can be done with a Side TAC but instead of starting with H, H, H, you start with a singled delayed H to get Ammy to the other side of the opponent.

The second thing I’ve been working with is the strange properties of her qcf s move in glave (glaive chop). So normally when you hit with it Ammy hits the ground and the opponent spins out for a bit and this is normally just canceled into super. However I found that Glaive chop is a two hit move and actually has different properties. The second hit is what causes the spin out, but the first hit actually causes a hard knockdown. The issue is that the second hit automatically connects, that is unless you cancel the first hit with veil of mist. If you do this Ammy will land with veil of mist activated and the opponent in a hard knockdown. I’ve experimented with certain characters and with select supers they can combo afterward. For example, TAC, weapon change glaive, full charge H x glaive chop (1 hit) x Veil of mist, DHC into Dante Devil Trigger, Vergil Swords, etc. and they can continue the combo. The non tac version of this tech works much better for this type of fake DHC glitch. I even found a way for doom to combo off of this tech.

starting with ammy, M, H, f H, fH, fH, fH x weapon change glaive, M, S, Air M x head charge H, fully charged H x Glaive chop (1 hit) x Veil of mist
If you are a clockwork or Marlinpie and have doom with ammy, you can DHC into Sphere flame from Veil of mist. Sphere flame will allow doom to recover in time to hit a st. M and otg and get two reps of a standard Clockwork loop.

the team I use can’t do much with this as I play Modok, Iron Man, Ammy. But I do still use it with Ammy on anchor. After the veil of mist I lay out a M paper then go for a mix up. To be honest it is sort of unnecessary when used in this way, but then again it is a guaranteed veil of mist mix up. I hope that this hasn’t already been shared here. Let me know any thoughts on this.

Has anyone found a non down tac infinite yet.

Nope.

The Down TAC infinite isn’t even all that great since each rep does 20,800, meaning you need like 20 reps to make it worthwhile. You’re better off using someone who has a better TAC infinite like Mags, Iron Man, Sentinel, or Nova.

Do you think you could otg with glaive similar to smart bomb to get an easier starter since she can weapon exchange mid air?
Also, whats the timing on the down infinite? I can’t seem to land the addf hh.

I hate that hit-stun deterioration is determined by a timer. If it weren’t for that I’d have a consistent combo conversion that does more than 220k off of Rosary H. #Salt

YESH I called that shit from a mile away

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

…snap.

I’m gonna need inputs for that Ammy TAC infinite.
(I really hope no one takes that seriously)
(Inputs for the Ammy infinite are in italics)

It might just be me, but I’m highly struggling to do it rofl. The timing is. . . strange.

Yeah it’s not really easy at all, at least in the part of setting it up since there a couple variables what with you can time your stance changes differently putting you at different heights. But I think I have a side tac setup, which could lead toward midscreen setups. Anyways the side tac setup is come in solar flare H,S stance change to glaive in the air and then dive. In glaive its M,S glaive dive.

The up TAC infinite relies on getting 2 Hs easily after the glaive dive. With weapon change done during hitstop (as will likely happen, as is far easier than any other specific timing), this does not work on everyone.

Against Sentinel and Hulk, the opponent’s large size means you weapon change higher the second H comes too early, dropping it before the first rep is complete.
Against Tron, the opponent’s unusual hitbox means they float above the second H.
Against Modok, Arthur, and Viewtiful Joe, the opponent’s small size means you weapon change lower and the second H does not come out.
Against Rocket Raccoon, up TAC to Ammy has the TAC entrance attack whiff.
