I think it’s pretty cool, but I don’t have a 360 or a PS3 and at the hookups I can only play 4-5 games in an hour due to rotation. And I don’t think it’s cool enough to buy either console just for that game. It’s certainly no HALO…

Hey KC people, finally got myself registered on srk instead of just lurking the character forums. I play at Axiom’s every once in a while, but that might change as classes end for me in 3 weeks.
I don’t know if this is the right place for this, but a little bit about my fighting game experience: I pretty much dabble in all games, but the ones I have dedicated myself to in the past are SC1-3, melee, and then brawl until I realized it was trash. I’m not going to rate myself in SF4, when the time comes I’ll show you my moves and you can decide that for yourself. My main is Vega, for some reason I always end up liking the low tiers in 2D fighters, I can’t explain it.
I plan on being at the tournament saturday, with a setup.

See the problem with the tournament is that I am not a strong player, lol. I can beat people but I think that is because they don’t know Viper. Half the time they sit in the corner while i hp.tk them to oblivion.
But anyways I would like to meet up and play got a stick and a notebook for notes. I am ready to up my viper game.
However looking for a job in this economy is kind of hampering my development.

ZanaOyakata: Tournaments are a great opportunity to play against all kind of people, styles, and skill levels. If you’re at all interested in getting better I highly recommend it.
As far as leveling up Viper specifically, I recommend character forums, if you can do half the insane combos she has you’re on good ground to work up from. You can also find out a lot of good matchup info which will save you some time when playing real opponents.

I was planning to fly coz driving sucks a fat one, but the big debate is now about how they’re gonna run sf4 with maybe 1000 entrants, it seems like setups may be an issue. If they need it, I would be willing to bring one, which would require driving. So, I dunno.
EDIT: oh yeah, I am interested in rooming with someone (especially someone I know), but not too many someones. I know it’s cheaper to stuff like 4-8 ppl in a room but frankly I want a bed to myself and I can afford to split it 2 ways lol.
