Not I. Evo is all console and that is just not good enough IMO.

If I was in the US, I’d go. $5000 is a nice incentive. Console = my own stick so it’s cool for me too. This sucks =/

I don’t want to go into too much detail, but it just seems like everyone (except Trey) has endured some changes:
Me: brother lost his job (twice!), so I’ve been helping him out.
You: went back to school.
Adrian: Got laid off and went to Cerner.
Tommy: Got married, which is punishment for shoplifting in some countries.
Steve: All I know is, he just plain fucked up somewhere. Moved to Phoenix in the process of doing so.
That’s all I have, and probably all I need to know.

You know, this getting together to play games thing was so much easier back when PowerPlay didn’t suck ass.
I guess we could meet up there tomorrow evening, and either A) go to somebody’s house to get our Slash fix in or B) commandeer the projector screen at Powerplay and hook up a PS2 to it. I’m sure nobody would have a problem with this.
I don’t know about tomorrow night, but Saturday I should be free.

That was the best thing that ever happened to me actually. Cerner’s a huge step in the right direction away from Government and Government Contracting.
He’s not married yet. And this ain’t those countries. This is also not a bad thing for HIM

Just to clear things up: I didn’t mean to say that all the changes you guys made were bad, they just seemed to have an effect on your ability/willingness to travel for tournaments, along with other factors…
WHO in the FUCK wants to play some games? Martin, ain’t (which is in the dictionary now btw) nobody going to Columbia today. You can get on the Columbia board here, and some of them will play you.
My willingness to travel to tournaments has not been affected, ever.
My ability was also never affected, although I probably wouldn’t have gone during the period of unemployment.
I’ve actually been dying to go to a tournament for quite some time now.
For me there’s been exactly TWO stopping factors for tournment travel.
- While I could (and have before) go alone, I’d rather not. With the death of MvC2 imminent in KC I don’t really see a “crew” showing up for this.
- CONSOLES.
And technically no MvC2 would prevent me from going too. Which is why I never travel to Columbia, St Louis, Omaha, or any other “close” location. We’re the only ones in the Midwest (save Chicago) that still play this. And it’s likely dying in Chi-Town too due to the extreme lack of players.
So seriously guys, games tonight (Saturday)?

Every time I go to Columbia to play Slash, I find out about an evil poke. May’s 2K (or is it 6K?) actually beats out Testament’s 2H. And I guess those flying dolphin attacks cross up. Dirty.
We’ll have to meet up tonight for further research. When would be a good time to do so?
