Has Ben been to PP? I don’t recall this at the moment…
^^ Yes
Okay Adrian I’ll give you a call. I’ll probably be up there around 6. See you guys.
Ben: So is the Wii worth a purchase? I was thinking about getting one for Twilight Princess
I can 2nd the insanely annoying music comment.
Everybody dance, it’s a pizza party.
Wii is pretty damned great, I’m not much of a Zelda fan in general, although you know my general feeling about old shit, heh heh. My roommate bought it and i played some, it is pretty good tho. So you just up for friday night? I’m off the whole weekend. I’m 8167693713, hit me up if you’re around.
Hey man sorry I missed this. I only stayed for a few hours friday night. I have to work 9a-11pm sat and sunday so not a lot of free time on the weekends. I’ll give you a call sometime tho, i’d like to hang out
everyone else: thanks a ton for coming down, i had a lot of fun. made it back just fine this time!
good games dude and everyone else
Anyone up for some MvC2 on Wednesday night, say around 6 or later?
Would Thursday night be ok?
Nope, I’m working until 9 tomorrow night. If you want to go tonight, post on here when you see this. I’ll check back regularly.
Hey thanks for the help guys, the trip to Columbia went relatively smooth (other than one unexpected cab ride). Too bad there’s no tournament now, but it beats being stuck at work…
Alright guys. Looks like I may have a little more time during the upcoming weeks if anyone want to play some MvC2. I will be available Monday after 2 any time and between 2 and 5:30 on the other weekdays.
man, about time god quit mashing hail storm
Ok, so I got the rest of the night off. Anyone want to go up tonight to play some MvC2? Leave a message on here and I’ll check back periodically tonight. Leave your number or just tell me when you’ll be there.
MvC2 is not in an acceptable state of repair.
The 1st player side won’t block consistently and multiple buttons together do not work regularly (things like air dashes and supers don’t work).
The 2nd player side randomly presses buttons when the joystick is moved.
None of which are consistently broken enough to “prove” to the complete idiot tech that the shit isn’t working. His method of testing the sticks is to roll it around slowly and with a lot of force in test mode. But no one plays a game applying that much pressure in a direction to make the stick work. Similarly simply rolling motions aren’t sufficient for testing a stick.
Well, that sucks. When did this happen? I’m hoping you guys didn’t find out Saturday night when you got there and then had to leave because of it.
Great, they’re going to put Ninja Clowns in that cab now. (jk…maybe)
GGPO Powerplay.
Anyone know if they fixed this yet?
My hunch is they haven’t. Unless you bring your own buttons and wires to the arcade (maybe a gun to put to the tech’s head as well), we might have to wait a week or so.
