Actually, there’s about 10-15 that play competitively and another 10-15 that play casually. I have played DDR for 2 years and know the people in the scene. But anyway, about the gaming this week. Never mind about it, I don’t have time now. My work schedule is way too full. I have an information technologies job now, which is nice though. I’ll probably head up to PP the Saturday after this one though. See ya guys then.

The “A Time To” series was pretty phat. Not sure how much I am digging Titan. Might just read Confederate (or whatever the title is, it’s in my car right now).
There’s a good sized Ssbm crew in KC/Lawrence. They hit up out of state tournements on a regular basis(maybe twice a month) in their bus. One of their members is darkrain, one of the top twenty players in the US and ranked 2nd in the midwest. Just fyi
Man, I think I missed the boat on Smash, since I rarely hear of tournaments and other various local gatherings (not much noise outside of the smashboards for KC events). Actually, it has more to do with the fact that I was too lazy to play through single player and unlock Marth. Not quite sure how well my Jigglypuff would fare against you guys…
Maybe we could setup a Marvel/Smash/GG/3S tourney sometime. Only problem would be securing a couple more Marvel boards/cabs…
Nope, I don’t have a degree yet. I will after this coming semester. I work at Advanced Network Solutions on 79th and Bond. It’s pretty nice. Oh, and the SSBM thing. Darkrain is my gf’s best friend’s bf. His name is Dave. I just saw him at New Year’s Eve at a party we were at. He is good at that game. Still need to find a time for Marvel. That’s not the problem. The problem is that no one from any of those games plays any of the others. The Marvel crew doesn’t play any of the other three, the SSBM crew doesn’t sound like they play any of the other three, the GG crew (of which I know of only myself and Tre) don’t play any of the others (cause I wouldn’t enter a GG tourney, and Tre doesn’t usually enter Marvel Tournies). And the 3S crew… uh, wait… there’s a 3S crew???
There’s a handful of 3S players around here.
As for the other games, you don’t have to enter the tournaments for them, but at least try your hand in casuals, so you can develop a better understanding for them. Why not pick up a few Potemkin strategies from other players?
Casuals are the main reason I went to MWC and the Omaha tourney, since games other than Marvel are rarely played here.
I understand them all perfectly fine. Liking them, however, is another story.
If I ever entered a GG tourney it would not be with Potemkin.

WTF?!?!?!? I was really thinking I could find cheaper prices on my textbooks online, but it is not proving to be the case. Plus, of the 5 “required” books, I can only find 2 of them online by searching by the ISBN.
Weeks: Got your voice mail, I was at work and my phone doesn’t get service there. And when I got home I fell asleep all early and shit.
Anyway, I don’t get off of work today (Friday) until about 5:30 or 6pm so I’d be up for games then.
