Well, if they don’t see it as broken, they may never fix it. Then, when no one plays it because it’s broken, they will take it out. Hopefully that doesn’t happen.
I just realized that shit with the Marvel cab went down on Adrian’s birthday. That makes it a little more fucked up. I wonder if they offered him a free pizza buffet or credits to try to appease him…
I’ve been looking for a different spot to play games at (well at least I was until we got snowed on again). The only (shudder) console lan center in town is no longer open (they had shitty hours and only Xbox consoles anyway), and all the other arcades still manage to suck ass (unless you like going out of your way to play Tekken and DDR). I guess it’s back to strictly game nights at Tre’s apartment (if he ever comes back in town)…
So no one has a place that we can chill at and play some games? I’d be willing to bring food or drink.
That did not happen that day, that was just the day I posted it. It first happened as early as three weeks prior, it became unplayable that Friday and Saturday before my Bday.
Yeah, I remember the night you were getting on one of the “techs” about fixing it. He kept saying “Sure man, we’ll take care of it later.” Apparently they never got around to taking care of it.
Until arcade operators get with the times, I can just use my tax refund money and buy an Astro City cab and a Marvel board (or supergun to hook DC up to) and practice that way. Actually I’d probably buy one just because it’ll look sweet in the living room. Definitely a better idea than buying a HDTV and a PS3. Yeah…

There have since been TWO new sticks put into it for player 1, both worse than the first.
Yeah, I have a bad habit of guessing wrong.
But to me, putting in shitty sticks doesn’t qualify as “taking care of the problem”, but I can give them points for the effort. Beats throwing the whole thing out and putting NFL Blitz in its place or something.
Just give me a heads up when it’s in acceptable condition.

I think Tre bought one, but fell off the face of the earth shortly afterward. I’m still on the fence about buying one, but most of the games I’m looking forward to are on 360…
No, I didn’t buy a PS3 and I would suggest that you don’t either. I could go on and on about why not, but trust me on this, it’s not worth it. Just wait a little while.
Just buy WoW. In the end, it’ll do the same thing as a PS3 and it only costs $49.

Yeah, I was kind of disappointed about the games. Playstations always had the best games, until the Playstation 3 came out. Now Xbox is where it’s at. I believe that the PS2 had a lot better games than the Xbox did. It’s all different now. Xbox is basically getting everything that the PS3 is getting. Not only that, but they are getting a lot more games than the PS3. They have Guilty Gear online, which PS3 doesn’t have. That bothers me a little. I guess I just expected the PS3 to live up to its past consoles like before. Guess it didn’t pull through.
If you’re referring to Reload on the Xbox, you’re not missing much. The netcode is horrible in that game.
I’m guessing that no one is going to Powerplay tomorrow for MvC2…
