Justin Wong should not have been on Team USA

Make this thread, obviously.

On a more serious note : The fighting game community has grown for people to criticize selections in team tournaments like these. Fighting games will never become as big as first person shooters when it comes to competitive gaming but the similarities are definitely there.

I remember how people used to moan constantly when the teams were announced for European Cup in Counter Strike etc. That´s just the way it goes when there are enough spectators, video recaps and so on.

Just want to know. Is this causing you emotional distress or something?

Well then, go out there and prove that you can do better than Justin instead of whatever you’re doing here.

I think it’s quite obvious that there were better players who could’ve taken JWongs place.

We still don’t know how it would’ve turned out in the end though.

DOES ANYONE ELSE THINK ANGELINA JOLIE HAS BEAUTIFUL LIPS?

when i heard that marn wasnt on the team i knew they were done

Who was on team Ethiopia?

Who cares, they all died when Justin dropped his EX Messiah FADC Ultra

Haha so Fivec for the 5th spot on any American team from now on eh. Man how are you emotionally involved in this. Just play the game and enjoy watching high level play to learn something from them.

These new-age scrubs who prefer watching streams and care about the drama between countries rather than playing the game and trying to get better are ruining Street FIghter. So many scrubs and new-fags on the streams these days that they can’t even recognize D44 BAS or MOV when they came playing on team Elive.

I actually had no idea Kazunoko was the GG player Inoue until watching that stream. I also liked the “Kazunoko says he plays Yun so he doesn’t have to learn footsies” or whatever UD/JC said.

On topic: Wong brought shame to the US of A!

sf4 forum no longer has an overly active mod. People have to manually report every crappy thread. I got sick of doing it.

Coincidentally player 1 is the OP.

should have been two usa teams

team 2:
ricky, juicebox, marn, flashmetroid, and latif

I saw this thread and was afraid someone was gonna go all racist on Jwong.

The internet has left some deep, deep scars on my faith in humanity.

cmon really? a giant clapping gif? what year is this?

fivec - you don’t get it. i see what you’re saying but the point is, even with justin wong not taking AE seriously, he is still arguably the best US player in AE. u may see players like wolfkrone, mike ross, and ricky placing higher, but among almost all the top players, they all still agree that justin wong is better than them. you don’t see any behind the scenes stuff. you might think it’s sad, and you might be right, but that’s the truth of the american SF scene. even with justin wong not taking the game seriously, he’s still one of the best. that’s the cold hard fact. ANY player that has played justin will tell you he barely EVER drops any combos. but in this particular tourney, he dropped combos, i guarantee this is the WORST he’s ever played, nobody coulda predicted that.

ur just angry cause he didn’t do well, this was just a bad tourney for him in AE. it happens, you wouldn’t understand.

If you can do better, then challenge Justin Wong. Complaining about him being on Team USA means crap. He’s not going to win every major anyway.

This is random but while some of our own people are currently in slumps its a good time for new players to show what they can do.

But seriously, why is this a topic?

This should be on SRK’s front page.
