You are telling me these shouldn’t be graded upon their inventiveness? Or that the art (which I had said presentation, since you are so specific about that) could also be graded separately. Someone could have a stick with no art that could still get a 10 on presentation.
I would think it’s be nice to be able to browse looking for say, good wiring, good presentation, inventiveness, functionality, best art, or the like. Just looking through say the 9 or above ratings isn’t as cool as it would be to choose one of those categories and see things in the same vein or equally good in some categories.
I see where you are going with this. Perhaps you should have worded it differently. First it was about grading/rating based on this and that, and now you’re saying grading/rating based on what you would like to see (browse at)… whatever.
In that case, I’d suggest a ‘Recommended Pick of the Week/Month’ type of deal. Of course this would be voted on, but it would be based on the areas Steve and everyone else may have covered. Example: On the main page would be the pic w/link of the ‘Recommended Pick of the Whatever’ and then a brief summary on what it was recommended for… like wiring or artwork.
Everyone has their own ideas on how this can work… anything is fine with me :tup: I’m not here to say anything is wrong… just also trying to throw in my 2.
Ok, so I got a problem. I cannot upload pics. There is no option at all. I click on My Photos and it just states that there are no photos in the category with no button or anything letting me upload. I tried through member submissions as well but nothing. Can someone please help. Thank you.
I remember I had trouble at first and I got VERY frustrated. For me though, it all clicked suddenly and my problem was solved when I re-logged in. I’m sorry that it is giving you different trouble.
Just another thing I thought I’d point out: Didn’t get an e-mail for resetting my password. Then again, I have hotmail and they tend to have filter problems. Tried to register again under a yahoo account and it was the same deal. No confirmation e-mail.
