Ok wow, that’s really strange. I swear when I tested it before (like when I first got the game) that assist wouldn’t reset the ground bounce. I even wrote down ‘does not reset ground bounce’ in a little notebook that I was writing shit in.
But I just tried it today, and it did reset the ground bounce. Now I wonder what else I’m wrong about. :confused:

Thank you, can I replace that part with :h: into prop shredder? Or will I have to switch something else up in the combo? Sorry for the questions, my sticks in repairs right now so I can’t actually practice any of this stuff so Im tryna get as much knowledge as I can first.

Tell me exactly what combo you’re trying to change it to. Nonetheless, there is no way possible to go straight from :h: into Prop Shredder unless you mean :h: as in an Ebony and Ivory move. Sounds confusing right?

I think what Im trying to do is something like airplay series s. :h: :df: :h: prop shredder j. hammer rest of the combo. Would that work?

Havent tested it in awhile but IIRC the s:h: knocks the opponent too far back for :d::h::h: (Cold Shower). It should work in the corner though.

You know what, Ill just run with the aforementioned combo and drop the prop shredder altogether until I get a better understanding of dante. Thanks for all the help.

Well the combo you’re doing does have Prop Shredder in it. Let me explain it for you

:l:, :m:, :h:, :f::h: Bold Cancel :dp::m: (Volcano), J.:h:, J.:qcf::m: (Air Play), J.:h:, s.:s:, s. :h: :h: (4 Up Shots/4 shots of Clay Pigeon) , s :s: (Prop Shredder) J.:qcf::l::l: (Hammer), :dp::m:xx:m: (Volcano OTG xx Beehive), :dp::m:xx:m: (Volcano xx Beehive), :qcf::atk:+:atk: (Million Dollars) Does over 700k.

anything in parentheses is the name of the move you just did. For example,
:df::h::h: (Cold Shower)
means you just did Cold Shower

Remember when you do any Ebony and Ivory (guns) moves, Dante is actually firing twice, so when you press :h: twice after standing :s:, the combo counter on the side goes up by 4.

Lastly, by “Volcano OTG xx Beehive” I mean that you have to let Volcano come out first to OTG the opponent then cancel into Beehive

Having trouble finding an optimal BnB from j.S/Hammer

Usually no matter what I do, they’ll fall out of prop shredder, I’ve tried, Volcano, j.M, j.H, Killer Bee, S, H, Prop; I’ve tried Volcano, j.H, Air play, j.H, S, Prop, and others but they don’t work, so I’m still stuck with the weaksauce cold shower combo

Any tips or just a combo that works?

Umm Volcano jH airplay jh sSH Prop works fine. Getting about 690k in the corner

hammer/J.S, volcano, J.H, Air play, J.H, S-H, Prop blablabla works 100%. You can also add another H before doing the S-H, Prop. I get about 710 - 725k from that.

Just noticed, air play IAD jH still works meaning that Dante has an easier double acid rain combo on medium sized characters. Oh Dante, why you so SSStylish?

Just noticed Prop does actually whiff sometimes if you dont combo right. The trick is to delay the first jh and DONT delay the second. Feels weird

EDIT: or not…IDK what the hell is up with that combo

3rd clay pigeon (2 shots) Stinger lvl. 2 (bold cancel) Hysteric~Grapple Volcano~beehive super
3rd clay pigeon (2 shots) Stinger lvl. 2 (bold cancel) Teleport Hammer Volcano~beehive super

All of those options lead into at least a full bar and 710k with a level 1
The starter for this can be hit really really late as well unlike the (hammer/j.S Volcano j.H airplay j.H blah~) combo

Yeah I get it like a few times but they drop out far too often. There’s nothing wrong with my execution so I’m obviously timing something wrong

thanks works alot better! Do I have to slightly delay the S after upshots cause if I do it right after upshots they still flip out. Like they arent deep enough into the prop shredder! Its not consistent if I do it right after upshots I dont get to grind alot so I like to ask to maximize my time.

sometime in my combos the enemy player falls out of my pop shredder after clay pigeon and sometimes they don’t. I’m i doing something wrong?

I see people doing S into H (up shots) into stinger, how do I get the stinger to connect?
