you’re not letting them fall deep enough into Prop Shredder
Although you’re canceling into Stinger, it’s a link. Its around the same timing as doing Cold Shower (2 shots) into Stinger. You cant mash out the Stinger or you’ll just add more shots, you have to actually wait a small second after doing :h: for shots and then do :f:+:h:
one more: while doing magic series, stinger, volcano, j.M, j.H, airplay, j.H, s.H, S, H, S (the twirly sword) I’m having a real though time getting my opponent in my S (the twirly sword), he keeps falling out so that I can’t follow it up with a teleport hammer. Is there some kind of thing I should be doing to make this more consistent or do I really have to perfectly time a late S?
Yeah it depends on how many hits you’re doing before you do Prop. Also make sure that Prop Shredder (when Dante twirls his sword) is connecting properly.

Quick question regarding acid rain loops. I can do 1 with no problem but when I go for the second the opponent falls to the ground before the rain part comes down, now is this where I do the standing S the jump S?
Yeah, you’re basically tryna hit the opponent with the tip of s:s: and then hit them back down with j:s:. If you wanna get fancy, you can do Hammer instead of the j:s: so that you get a hard knockdown right next to Dante instead of the opponent flying away.
You should add :df::h::h::h:, :f::h: Bold Cancel for a wall bounce during one of the Hard Knockdowns before your finisher. From there you can j.:s: or Hammer for another Hard Knockdown. Or Skydance to Reverb Shock, Fireworks.
So I’ve seen videos of people doing the forward H to wall bounce into teleport into whatever. You have to bold cancel into the teleport? Do you have to tiger knee it or something? I’ve attempted to get it down a few times in training mode and never got it to work.

Edit: what’s the input for teleport after prop shredder? I think I would be more consistent If I teleport instead of super jumping (I do hammer either too late or too early sometimes)
Edit 2: I think I like cold shower better than the combo I was doing before now my combos have 20% more swag lol
So my Dante just became Doctor Doom status. Are we all aware that he can get full volcano blah blah prop shredder blah blah combos off of hammer hard knockdowns? j.s knockdowns you have to go straight from clay pigeon to stinger cause they pop out of prop shredder but that’ll just take some practice (big damage in learning it).
Me and someone else in this thread or another was just discussing that he can get a full combo off of it. Prop works but there’s something weird about it that occasionally makes the opponent pop out.
i have been playin since vanilla but have only just been playing around with dante in ultimate. i know alot of u say he is easy mode now but im having a hard time with him atm. i have only been practicising in the misson mode and took him online a few times only to get bodied
im placing him in a deadpool/dante (jam session)/ doom (plasma beam team). im one of these people who feels like if i cant do the mission mode with a char i dont deserve to use him :P.
is it worth memorising the mission mode combos or practice the ones in the guide brady games guide?
