After years (okay hours) of practicing, I have made assistless and meterless corner bnb that out dmgs Nini’s. Does around 740k and builds about 1.8 meter. :wink:

Edit: A few of them need reworking or have already been upgraded to something more dmging but I wanted to get a simple combo vid out

How many acid rains should i be able to get in the corner? So far Im getting 2 max

I can do most of the shit in actual matches so I would say it all depends on how much time you put in training mode. The only thing in my videos I don’t use in matches is the midscreen stinger>bc>teleport>skydance except against select characters.

But then again, I’m using shot loops as my regular BnB right now so people here think i’m crazy lol.

If you’re playing online or in a tournament, just stick to what you know/practiced the most.

Any luck with the acid rain->cold shower->stinger extension?

I tried acid rain->launcher->charge shots->stinger with no luck.

Man, I hate HSD on cold shower Q_Q.

Anyone found a reliable EASY bread and butter. I really hate charge shot into stinger, it’s so unreliable. Also killer bee just like… misses for no apparent reason now in a lot of combos. I really want something consistent that doesn’t involve a whole lot of crazy unreliable stuff that only adds like 10k damage.

what do you consider easy?

His old bnb people were using at the end of vanilla was fine. Stuff just seems really inconsistent now.

Like right now I’m doing MH Stinger Bold Cancel Volcano JC j.H air play j.H dash MHS JC j.H Killer bee land back dash 5S HHH stinger teleport j.S Million Carats Super. That works on most characters but there’s a lot that the killer bee will miss on… does about 720k… and of course I randomly drop the charge shots for no reason a lot of the time lol.

I do

:m::h: Stinger BC Volcano j:h: Airplay j:h: land s:s::h: (2 shots) Prop Shredder

From there it all depends on my positioning.

In the corner (around 720k)
Acid Rain x2, Hammer, Cold Shower xx Stinger BC Hammer, Volcano OTG xx Beehive, Stinger BC Jet Stream xx Fireworks xx MD (or Volcano xx Beehive xx MD)

Midscreen (around 692k)

every time i try that combo my opponent never ground bounces and flys outward… i guessing it only works on larger characters then…?

Working on a midscreen bnb involving two acid rains. If it doesnt do good dmg, hopefully it’ll atleast build good meter.

Also noticed that you can get one acid rain after a random Hammer/jS Cold Shower xx Prop

*Prop Shredder and the first Acid Rain is the backbone of this combo. Prop has to connect at the first possible moment while also landing correctly. The two acid rains must be done ASAP

**You can jump and do Hammer, Volcano xx jS, or s:s: into j:s: depending on the vertical height of your opponent

A friend of mine has asked me to teach him Dante. The kid’s fairly young and he’s new to the genre.

With that being said, what’s the most damage Dante can get without any bold cancels whatsoever?

Honestly I have a cousin who’s the same but it depends. My cousin doesnt actually understand the motions so I told him he really should be playing Dante. So what does your friend actually know how to do universally in fighting games?

AB/BCS, superjump C xx Killer Bee, Backdash launcher, up guns, prop shredder, neutral superjump, hammer, (in corner: cold shower, stinger, bold cancel (this one’s easy, reallly easy.) jump s) beehive xx super will get him some good damage without too much effort.

I’m not sure myself, that’s why I’d like to learn some of the reliable easy-mode combos so I can gauge how well he can pick this stuff up.

Sorry, I should’ve been more specific. I’m looking for the most reliability without bold cancels, the ABC(S) formula worked well in vanilla, but the pushback just makes it far too finicky for me to recommend to anyone.

So if I can avoid the c>s at the beginning without a bold cancel, that’d be great.

You can do ABS, or BCS depending on range. AB is ground, BC is anti-air.

Or do ABC Stinger Thousand Stab Launcher. But it’ll scale your combo a lot, still very good for beginners or “I really don’t want to risk anything, don’t let me drop this combo.”

Example:
LMH 6H (mash H for thousand stab) S HHH (upguns)xS(slight delay into shredder) 28(neutral superjump) 236LL(hammer) 623MM(beehive) 214L or 214C(reverb/jet stream) HHH(fireworks) Super is literally 100% foolproof and easymode.

You’re not gonna be able to utilize your wall bounce without at least learning the Cold Shower(3HH) Stinger (6H) level two bold cancel in the corner though. It’s harder to utilize the bounce midscreen but you can learn something hella basic like bold canceling into 214C, which works at full screen.

Been wanting to learn Dante for a while (mid Vanilla days) but was too intimidated by his moves (40+? ack). Was trying him out now and some of his combos involve and H+ATK, which is referred to as Bold Cancel and Dante just normal jump forward? What exactly is Bold Cancel? How am I supposed to combo from Stinger into that?

well the input for it is something like :f:+:h:>:atk:+:s:>:dp::m:(for volcano) but i’ve never been able to do it like that…I’ve been using him since the beginning of vanilla and I still input it like this :f:+:h:>:dp::s:+:m:…for some reason it works for me so I stuck with it.
