Can anyone tell me how to connect the grapple after the wall bounce of the stinger? It always misses when I use it. There are two situations in which I use it: In the corner in the opponents face and midscreen. They all miss. Am I supposed to delay the grapple? Can someone tell me how to time it correctly? Also, how do u do the s after the jet stream? I’m learning to do the dhc trick with dante.
You have to delay. Longer than you think you would. I input it in slow motion.
In the corner, you have to delay even longer. If you do it after skydance whiff though you can teleport to the other side and use midscreen timing.

Wait u can do grapple after skydance? And do teleport behind to grapple them? Why would u do a skydance? Hows that look like?
you do a skydance so the last hit happens and it forces that really long grounded animation. then you tele and cold shower > stinger > bold cancel delayed grapple. clever stuff.
Be careful about taking them out of the corner though. Sometimes the HSD is too high and they will NOT travel full screen to wall bounce. Had this happen to me after some up/Down tacs, I was pretty salty.
thanks guys. I did it right after reading the replies. I have other questions regarding his bnb. The one where u do stinger bold cancel into j.h, airplay, j.h, st.h, cold shower, shredder. How do u guys do this consistently? I think I’m doing something wrong bc I’m too far to land the st.H or it just whiffs completely. For the first j.h I jump forward.
To connect the cold shower you have to either j.h, airplay, j.h, land, ground dash, st.m, st.h, cold shower, or j.m (instead of j.h), airplay, j.h, land, st.h, cold shower. Of course you can also do j.h, airplay, j.h, land, st.h, st.s, charge shots (2hits), prop shredder. This is the one that deals the most dmg and also sets up charge shot loops, but i think you should try which one works best for you.
Can I do the loop and then keep the combo going to the end? The HSD won’t make it whiff?
So i just picked up dante and i’m having problems landing volcano jh air play jh h s~h prop shredder in the corner. peeps never get hit by the charge shots. i’ve tried spacing the jh’s, removing the s.h before launcher and jumping straight up after volcano but can’t get things to work in the corner. any tips?
After the loop you have to skip shredder and go directly into stinger (bold cancel air trick if midscreen), j.s/hammer, or assist call j.s if you have one that works.

In the corner you do neutral j.h, airplay, j.h, st.m, st.h, cold shower, prop shredder. If you want to go into charge shots in the corner you can do backjump h instead of neutral and go straight into st.s, charge shots after landing, but it’s hitbox and spacing dependent, so i usually don’t go for it.

For Charged Shots in the corner,
( neutral j.h, airplay, j.h(late as possible), land, backdash, s.M -> s.S -> charged shots ) also works. For me, personally, timing-tight execution is much easier than character-dependant, spacing-tight execution; probably because I play on buttons. So I find the dashing after landing setups to be pretty consistent, as my Jump Back airplay setups seem to fail on some characters a lot more than others.
I do this without the 5M. Works on pretty much everyone and isn’t that hard.
I’m still not having much luck with stingers after charge shot loops. I wonder if cold shower works after some of the higher number of charge shots?
Lately I’ve just been ending charge shot loops with Dorm assist > Revolver as they fall out of the charge shots, looks pretty awesome and sets up for a really easy grapple if you want to use it here. Otherwise revolver into cold shower is generally what I go for.
Also random question, I can do the Carats DT teleport cross up thing consistently now so what’s the best combo off of that? It seems to be REALLY good for not scaling the combo.
Million Carats>DT>Teleport>Volcano>J.H>Air Play>J.H>5H>5S>J.H>Psycho Crusher>J.S>stuff.
Psycho Crusher>J.S Timing is kinda hella tight midscreen so you can just go for J.H>Killer Bee>Charge Shot loop>stuff instead of the J.S stuff.
As for Charge Shot>Stinger, it really depends. I don’t think I’ve ever missed it after a killer bee>back dash 5S. I find it real consistent after 2 shots.
Hey guys I’ve been getting involved with Dante for about a month. I know how to do the acid rain loops, gun loops, bold cancel, etc… One problem I have though is midscreen, I’d like to go from JH, Air Play, JH, to JH, Air Play, Dash, JH. The timing for that Dash JH after airplay is tight but I see 10stars pulling it off with ease. Is their something about it or should I just Mash MH twice after air play?
I can’t tell if you mean you were able to make it actually cross up or not by the wording in this post. There was a discussion in the Dante general thread a few weeks ago about this technique and how it turned out that it doesn’t actually cross up (even though it hits from the other side, the opponent doesn’t need to switch their blocking to block it). To my knowledge, nobody was able to supply any evidence that there was a way to make it actually cross up.
So, in short, have you discovered how to make this an actual cross-up or do you just mean you were able to get the timing down so that Million Carats follows you when you teleport?
