Midscreen, the damage is virtually the same, and Jetstream pushes to corner. The only time you want to do double Beehive is when your opponent is in the corner, because comboing into Million Dollars off of Fireworks in the corner causes some of the hits from Million Dollars to whiff. Off of double Beehive, you can delay the cancel into Million Dollars so that your opponent falls directly into the path of the bullets and takes the full damage from the hyper.

When you use Cold Shower into Stinger make sure you only press :h: 3 times, before inputting :f:+:h: for Stinger.

To bold cancel into air trick there are two ways you can can do it:

  1. This is the way I do it and I personally think it’s easier. The input is: :d::s:+:atk:xx:d:+:s: The game will read the down you inputted with the bold cancel as a down input for the teleport so you just press :d: and :s: when it connects.

  2. You can also just do it like any other move and go :s:+:atk:xx:d::d::s:

Just be sure to note that if you’re in the corner, you shouldn’t cancel into air trick, otherwise you’ll whiff the J.:s:

I’ve been working with this combo a lot these past few days. The first part is pretty forgiving, if you can connect the j.H xx airplay, j.H then you’re good.

What helps keep them in the prop shredder long enough to launch them is delaying the charge shots (mash H) a little bit longer after the S launcher than you normally would. And you’re only trying to get a few hits from the guns. After the delay cancel into charge shots you can mash S a few times to get prop shredder and then you’re gold. Also after prop shredder, you want to cancel into teleport at the end of the prop shredder animation. Sometimes you’ll do it too late and you can’t connect the hammer after. Hope this helps.

Please note that you only have to press :s: once anytime during the AA Charge Shots to get Prop Shredder.

hey guys im not sure if this is old but I havent seen anyone post it yet but Ive always had a problem doing AA charge shots to propshredder when starting the combo in the corner so I found this combo that sets up prop shredder into acid rain easily and does about 785K give or take

Has been mentioned a few times before, but in corner, jump backwards after Volcano, then do j.H -> Air Play, j.H, stand S into AA shots into Prop Shredder, etc etc.

I’m also pretty sure that someone, somewhere has mentioned using Cold Shower into Prop Shredder in the corner as an alternative to the above setup, hard to tell because people have posted combos all over the place in the Dante forum.

I think that combo works anywhere as long as you keep in mind of screen position and teleport cancel the Stinger if need be. I don’t think you have to air dash after the Air Play in the corner.

hey guys, I just recently decided to learn Dante, and im having small troubles with some of his cancels, for example.

whats the right timing for prop shredder into multiloc > Acid rain? I cant seem to get it most of the time

also after pro shredder, when I do the jump cancel air trick, whats the timing for killerbee> the hammer? sometimes only killer bee comes out

  1. Practice prop shredder -> super jump up like you would to do basic air hits after a launch. That point when you you hit Up to super jump up is the same point you should be hitting the up/forward in the first :d:, :df:, :f:, :uf:+:l: for the multi-lock. Do another :d::df::f:+:l: to cancel multi-lock into acid rain.
  2. Killer bee will always start to come out; you want to do another :d::df::f:+:l: to cancel the Killer bee into the hammer before it hits. If the bee connects, you didn’t do the second motion in time; do it faster.

lol, that one is sexy. you can get more dmg out of this by simply doing hammer instead of jump s after the stinger and by replacing jet stream xx … with another volcano xx beehive. should definetely go over 800k then. nice.

but hammer and jump s do the same damage dont they?
Id like to know, besides for midscreen (since the drop down is right in front of u rather than pushed away if using jump s)
why is hammer more beneficial in the corner compared to jump s?

I see the bounce is different, is that it?

I thought Hammer did more damage and super jump S takes away your ground bounce.

hammer is 4.5k more dmg after minimum scaling

turns out that you can go into acid rain again after j.S knockdown

3hhh>stinger cancel>acid rain>DT/XF once first shot is fired>5s>TK acid rain>acid rain xN>no wall bounce ender

the main goal is to do 3hhh>stinger cancel>acid rain 1 shot>DT/XF ASAP so you don’t lose height. much harder with DT compared to XF

you can do it with all 3 shots, but you pretty much need perfect execution lolll

So I’ve been thinking of using Dante in conjunction with Deadpool for the DHC glitch. Thing is, Deadpool’s combos always utilize OTG Katanarama, which counts as the combo’s single groundbounce. So the usual BnB (utilizing Killer Bee, which groundbounces) doesn’t work. What’s his max damage combo in this situation?

Don’t know if this matters for Dante, but it can’t have wallbounces either.

Edit: Also, he’ll be in Devil Trigger.

with tron/dormammu, you can probably just do

katana rama otg>assist hits>cutting time (or whatever combo into it)>DHC DT

j.S/hammer>OTG volcano>j.H>airplay>j.H>5s>slight delay before jumping>j.MHS>sky dance>

3hhh>stinger cancel>air trick>j.S/hammer>3hhh>reverb shock>fireworks>super

corner

So is there some sort of secret to doing stinger, volcano, jump H, air play, (airdash) jump H, something S, guns, prop shredder and getting the acid rain to connect midscreen? I can only get acid rain to work if I just do L M H S-H-S acid rain etc. Even in the corner when I do this the AA guns miss and I can’t even connect the prop shredder.

The “secret” has been posted here & in other threads a lot now man. =/

do H-H for guns (2 hit, so there’s less HSD), pause for a split second (to allow them to drop), then the S for shredder, then asap (on last hit) TK qcf+A, qcf+A.

This combo is actually harder in the corner (guns miss like you said), but you can dash back before s.H-S after you land from the airplay stuff so the guns will hit (PS: you don’t really need an AD in there).
