Nini I’ve been trying to do you zero vergil dante combo and I keep running into problems.
First one being I cant get the timing of calling vergil and launching so they end up popping out before I can even hit them with j:s:. If I manage to somehow get that in I have to worry about the OTGj:qcf::h:xxBuster not working for some reason, they’ll just pop out of it once the j:qcf::h: hits. Then, if I do get that I run into the problem the previous guy had which is connecting the dante assist with the launch. I read your comment to delay the launch but when I do that they just hit the ground because there is no time to delay. I would appreciate some help from anybody thanks.

1. Call Vergil exactly before the launch. Kinda like plinking it but almost at the same time. You could also call him at the same time you launch, both work.
2. Buster not working means the hitstun deterioration at that point is way too high. Cut the combo shorter
3. You really have to delay the launch though. Not too much that they will hit the ground but enough that you have time for the jam session to come out

Yep. Call Jam session immediately, then delay your Launch.

Also make sure that your M/H raikousen isn’t done too late (I had this problem a couple times). It should be hitting them as jam session is finishing. Timing the jam session call and the launcher correctly makes the timing for the raikousen pretty easy though.

Thanks Nini and sonic. I could also use some tips on combo extending with deadpool using zero if that’s possible.
And since I can’t get an answer in the vergil thread and y’all obviously use dante/vergil I was wondering if y’all knew how to do the combo extension with dante’s jam session using vergil where you go: j:d::h:(helm breaker), :a1:,:df::h:xx:h:(trick down), jam session hits, j:d::h:(helm breaker)? I can’t seem to find the timing for it

Hold down L from the lightning and use the hyper with M+H while still holding L. Jump, release L and it should have charged up enough for the buster to be at level 3

Yep it’s the speed being too slow and often you may forget to HOLD UF when you press L for the Raikousen.
You can’t just do the motion, return to neutral then L for some weird reason- despite the silly input leniency in today’s Capcom fighters.

And if you’re holding UF and it’s still not coming out? You’re doing the motion too slowly then.

yea thats what i thought at first i though i wasnt pressing forward hard enough but that might of made it slower overall instead

It happens when you press forward too early during lightning. It’s more consistent going neutral after every tk lightning.

I don’t think Omega’s rekkoha healed in MMZ3. It did heal in MMZX though.
