so i heard the lightning loop can be done without TKs does it help the consistency?

Can be done, and I’m still doing non TK ones on the 1P corner pretty consistently, but I wouldn’t say it helps with consistency just cos there’s more aspects to the motion itself, you’ve really got to jump then raikousen pretty damn fast and that’s where you introduce the fuck ups like getting QCF out accidentally, it’s more prone to happening. The TK motion is just a smoother motion and you’ll eventually find it much more reliable tbh.

That said, I need to loosen up my stick it’s waaay too stiff to be doing TK motions in 1P corner for my hand.

i have the same problem except for the P2 side, TK raikousens are pretty easy but my problem is alot of times my raikousens are to low, when i try to delay the button press zero just super jumps so maybe just jumping and doing raikousens might be more consistent in that respect?

What’s the most damaging BnB utilizing only Dante’s Jam Session assist that doesn’t utilize Lightning Loop? I’ve been doing launcher into jMMHS jump H Dive xxBuster L Raikosen cr.HS jMMHS jump H Dive xxBuster L Raikosen (Call Jam Session) st.S H Raikosen xx Buster H Dive Rekkoha which does about 820k.

Instead of ending with Buster > H Dive into Rekkoha, try ending with Buster > L Raikousen > M Dive > Rekkoha (not as consistent as just buster > dive > rekkoha), but I think that’s as good as it gets. Unless you replace Rekkoha with Buster relaunch into Lvl.3 instead lol (hit stun scaling might be too much at that point).

Also front page has a few combos that show how much damage each does if you wanna take a look at those too.

If your talking about consistency, the easiest way to finish with Dante’s Jam Session would be:
Combo… Sentsuizan.H, Release Buster, Raikousen.L, Assist, S, Raikousen.H (or M but H is easier to follow on), Release Buster, Sentsuizan.H, Rekkoha

I am currently working on Zero but I can’t seem to figure out how to do the buster after the 3rd lightning hit from the lightning loop? Any tips would be appreciated. thank you

Are you holding charge during the Lightning Loop? Should be holding charge using M or H as soon as you let go of the buster that starts it tbh.
Also try replacing the 2nd TK L Raikousen with TK H Raikousen, that way when it connects you can see when the buster is fully charged and let go on reaction. If it’s not charged in the time that you’re floating down you need to work on starting charge ASAP and also make sure you’re not accidentally loosing charge (while transferring it from L to M or H)

Somebody think they can help me with starting the lightning loop I have troubling timing the buster in to raikousen pop them high enough for the loop if possible can someone give a way to do it easier with jam session or rapid slash.

The easy way to combo into the LL with Dante for starters would be to knock them down with a H dive or S after a basic air series. Call Dante assits while doing a OTG dive which should put the opposing character into the jam session then jump up let go of the buster and cancel into sougenmu.

So this would be in notation : ( Assuming you are charging your buster with L) M,H,F+ H, S , Jump , M,M,H , S ( or M,M Dive), Dante Assits, OTG Dive ( Very quick sequence ), Jump ( While they are in Jam Session) , Buster xx L Raikousen xx Sougenmu ( Charger Buster with L as soon as you cancel into the Sougenmu), Jump, Buster ( Charger Buster with M ) xx L Raikousen , Tiger Knee Raikousen’s ETC.

This combo is simply for practicing as Dante’s assist does set up the LL quite well. The more advanced combo version would be similar to Nini Hearts " Zero does low damage" video except you would cancel his last L Raikousen into Sougenmu.

I enjoyed the ending of that video. LOL

Whats a basic corner and mid screen BnB I can do with Wesker OTG or Jaguar Kick assist?

So far I haven’t learned the lightning loop and all I can do is 2x Raikousen L loops into Ryunjin (sp) for only like 530k for corner.

Can’t connect Wesker gunshot for an easy midscreen or corner combo because they drop out on the ensuing air series

What’s the best incoming mixup for Zero? I know Zero is notoriously good at it, but I’m not quite sure what to do. I’ve seen people do L Raikousen, timed different to cross up. I’ve been trying to do M Raikousen (normal to cross up, cancelled with buster to not cross up). What do people generally do?

Nini I’ve been trying to do you zero vergil dante combo and I keep running into problems.
First one being I cant get the timing of calling vergil and launching so they end up popping out before I can even hit them with j:s:. If I manage to somehow get that in I have to worry about the OTGj:qcf::h:xxBuster not working for some reason, they’ll just pop out of it once the j:qcf::h: hits. Then, if I do get that I run into the problem the previous guy had which is connecting the dante assist with the launch. I read your comment to delay the launch but when I do that they just hit the ground because there is no time to delay. I would appreciate some help from anybody thanks.
