Good stuff. You should also look into a thread I posted here in these zero forums as well where after a TAC, you can just do j. down+H, j.s > sentsuizan before you land and it’ll force a hard knockdown which gives you plenty of time to charge buster to go into lightning loop.
I’m trying to figure out a way to go into Spiral swords DHC after this combo:
s.L,s.M,s.H,s.S, j.Mx2, j.H, j.S, j.DivexxBusterxxRaikosen,s.S, j.Mx2, j.H, j.S, j.DivexxBusterxxRaikosen, call rapid slash, s.S, j.S, j.S, j.DivexxBusterxxRaikosen, RekkohaxxSpiral swords.
Basically I don’t have a third person on my team anymore to do a combo ender like Doom or Dante and I was wondering if going into rekkoha after j.DivexxBusterxxRaikosen into spiral swords is possible even though the opponent is slightly elevated instead of on the ground where the Zero-Vergil DHC usually starts.

Niniheart’s channel. He’s got a lot of cool stuff.
IN RECENT NEWS
Zero can combo off his forward airthrow without X-factor OR assists.
Air forward throw->L hienkyaku->sougenmu->jump->M sentsuizan (note this is not a TK sentsuizan)->st.L->sougenmu combo (haven’t figured out what I really want to do here yet). There’s been talk about this in the Tiers thread.Works midscreen and in the corner.
Yay Zero.
So when doing the LL are you guys doing a tk dp motion? Or jumping up than doing a quick dp motion?
I’m finding that the non tk motion slows it down enough for two lightnings than a buster shot where the tk motion is much faster and the buster isn’t fully charged after the 2nd lightning. I’m just curious on what the Zero pros think is the better method.
TK, always.
Thanks, realized that I just need to slow it down a bit
The buster actually does less damage than the lightning. It is used for positioning to make the loop more consistent. The best way to get damage after the first buster is just to do 7 lightnings but it’s also a lot more difficult.
So if it’s easier for me to do 3 tk lightnings before the buster shot than just stick with it?
I just don’t want to develop a bad habit and raise the odds of me dropping the combo
The only thing that would change is that you wouldn’t be able to get another buster->lightning after your sougenmu runs out.
Your combo would be
: raikousen->TK raikousen x3->lvl3 buster->raikousen (sougenmu runs out)->TK raikousen. 6 raikousens and 1 buster
You really should should pick between raikousen->TK raikousenx6 (sougenmu runs out on 5)->buster->raikouse: 8 raikousens and 1 buster
or
raikousen->TK raikousen x2->lvl3 buster->raikousen->TK raikousen x2 (sougenmu runs out after the first one)->lvl3 buster->raikousen: 7 raikousens and 2 busters
Yeah, I think the way I do it is raikousen->TK raikousenx3 > lvl3 buster->raikousen->TK raikousenx2 or 3(not sure) ->sougenmu runs out-> reactivate sougenmu-> lvl3 buster and repeat
Also, how do I set up LL without an assist on characters where raikousen does not hit like Shuma?
This is what I have always done. High damage and consistent.
The only way to get good damage beforehand and still lightning loop is to jump loop (starting the jump loop is actually significantly easier than normal on Shuma), then instead of relaunching just do 1 extra jump loop then buster, raikousen, Sougenmu. As far as I know the only characters you need to worry about this on are Shuma (rare) and Ammy (low health). OTG > Buster > Raikousen works on everyone else that I’ve tried (even Strange, Magneto, Tron).
Enjoyed my first tournament experience yesterday and getting 7 TKs in a row in pressure situations is extremely demanding. Tried both versions of the loop in multiple situations and it was the buster version which was working best, despite me preferring the classic version when Training
Buster version is more reliable simply because buster corrects height issues for you (which you may not realize is an issue until it’s too late to fix it). This makes the timing more similar on different weight characters.
does anyone have a good combo off of an airthrow with jam session?
100% Sure Buster does straight up more damage too. With pure lightning Loop (off j.Buster) I get 580K for doing JUST TK Raikousens, it’s somewhere in the mid 650K region in the Buster/ height adjustment version.
Maybe I dropped 1 rep most for the TK Raikousens but even then it’s a massive diff, you gotta take into account Buster is only 3 hits vs Raikousen = 5 hits.
Buster does 108,300 before scaling. Raikousen does 102,300 before scaling. They have the same scaling value. The second buster usually won’t hit; the second Raikousen will always hit.
You also reach max scaling on hit 23. You should be reaching that well before you even activate your super. It doesn’t matter how many hits each move is at this point.
uhmm I dont really like Jam session after airthrows, I rather use it for the ender combo, unless your other assits cant extend.
Yeah, thats my problem, vajra is my other assist
I think Im gonna have to switch someone anyways, because Dante can’t combo off of airthrows with vajra well (strider seems to miss like 50% of the time)
Random Zero/Ironfist stuff I was messing around with today, nothing fancy.

Well this is just plain stupid, whoever said you can do jump DP for LL was right, it’s fucking retarded =/ Works on all characters that LL works on, no special procedure. Just jump, then L Raikousen ¬_¬
