I personally think the game is fun as fuck. It might not be eye candy like UMvC3 but it’s barely been out for 5 months. I can’t speak for others, but i don’t play the game to please the audience or stream monsters or w.e. I play it cuz i see the potential and it’s a fun game. Unlike you, if I come across something broken in-game, i learn ways to beat it. And you have all the tools in the game to do it too. I don’t drop the game after 1 month and bitch about how it sucks… seriously, what do you even know about this game anyway??

IDK you guys but I loved the SFxT Evo top 4. Laugh + Infiltration REALLY had sinergy with that team.
Actually since I came to this thread I’ll post what I think.
The game can’t move forward without people playing it. Unfortunately there is a stigma surrounding SFXT. It’s as good a fighting game as any, but has some design decisions that are pretty unfortunate.
Personally I hold off on playing the game because not only do I enjoy SF4 more than basically any game, there’s not many people to play with in the scene and I think most people are waiting until the balance update to bring some freshness to the game.
I like it, because I really like my team, VegaKing, and I enjoy the prospect of a street-fighter style game with extra craziness and sick-looking Tekken characters.
Plus, it’s just something new. You’ve got 3 decent enough Capcom fighters, each of which are totally different from the other. I’ll play it if people asked me to in person, but I’m in no rush to play online.
So yeah I’d like to see it evolve. I didn’t catch the finals but I heard they were alright. If the game changes enough in the update which i really hope it does cause this game has a terrible reputation then I think it’s safe to say the game will have “healed” a little bit. Sucks to see a game w/ lots of potential go down in flames.
So yeah I’m optimistic. Fun game and all that. Moving forward? Right now, not so much i guess. Soon, hopefully.
thank you for coming here and posting a very well thought and concise post. Yeah there is roundtable forum post where issues such as this are mentioned and talked about. I think more people should have fun with the game. Laughing about it. talking about tech and trying to teach their friends. Hell i even gave my copy of sfxt to my girlfriend so we could play together. People are more so ignorant to the fact that the game has a lot to offer. You can’t expect to know everything in one month. First off it’ll be boring as hell if everything is found out. next how do you expect to master it all in one month when everyone is on the same page trying to create tech and strats each of the games characters. Think of the many team possibilities. I mean the thing i do with this game is give my teams a name. such as team money inc. Or team rush hour. Have fun with it. So when you are talking to people about the game they’re like hey that’s pretty cool.
My greatest moment playing this game was at Civil War 4, which was a pretty hyped up sfxt tourney. When i told spooky to put my handle as money inc. he started humming to himself this song. [media=youtube]Vm4TG56KGZ4[/media]

I’m not the biggest SFxT fan, but the TokidoxFuudo low forward into scramble, one hit kill was so good!! That can only happen with two people playing, coordinating two people to be combing either side of someone.
The patch needed to be more severe though, nerfing some jabs, tatsus and gems isn’t really enough. Although if they do too much its hard to know the consequences I guess.
Also I really want to try out the new characters, and even though they are reasonably priced… I don’t want to sink another $20 into this game 
Speaking of that,(and not to derail…) but I’ve been hearing that EVO attendants are getting the characters early, and for free? Anybody know if this is true?
Yeah its true, during the panel they said they are released early, and anyone who entered SFxT will get a code for the new characters.
