RIP Never listened but apparently the man dubbed a bunch of stuff outside if DBZ. I don’t know if it sucks or it is ‘good’ that the piece of crap that killed him and his wife survived.

Well, guess the Zenkai bullshit still exists.
Finally the Super manga is doing something a bit better than the anime so far, even though the pacing is still on the rushed side.
No, I don’t mean the stupid Zenkais. 
I mean that Black gets Rosé on the exact same way I mentioned I wanted him to get it.
(Well, close enough. Less salt, more Zenkai. We take those.)

Yeah Black used zenkais in Super. Especially in the manga.

Yeah, I didn’t know that. Reading the Super manga as we speak. Just brought it up since we had a big discussion on the SFV lounge about DBZ.
Can’t see the image, so I’m gonna assume it was Black getting a Zenkai.
Black was an exception to the rule. Black even gets a bullshyt boost right before turning Rose. Zamasu healed a small amount of damage and it still made him stronger.
Trunks also came to the conclusion that Goku and Vegeta could no longer get Zenkais in the same chapter.

On the other hand, that does create a bigass plot hole when Vegeta goes Blue 2, doesn’t it?
I don’t think so as Zenkais haven’t been terribly well defined in the first place. Trunks may also not know wtf he’s talking about. I’ve never seen anything to suggest the Zenkais stopped working they just stopped talking about them.
Maybe something in super as I haven’t seen most of it.

I just realized that Gohan doesn’t appear at all in the Super manga up to the ToP. Just finished the Goku vs Toppo fight.
Did the manga really cut all that character development?

It’s somewhat consistent tho.
If the image is too large, it’ll probably break. If you post a gif too close to the size limit, it’ll turn into a 50px gif that only ants can see.
Discourse is atrocious, but I’d rather have it than nothing or a splintered community.

Toyotaro was clearly rushing through the ToP arc. Instead of taking the opportunity to tighten up the storyline, he barrels through it. The manga actually released after anime but if I didn’t know better I’d think differently because it is so rushed. I really didn’t like the Goku Black Arc in the manga. Trunks was a bit player in his own arc in the manga. I did like that Gohan worse his “Piccolo” gear in the manga but even by Super standards the power scaling in the manga was insane. Just in case you haven’t gotten that far. Gohan ToP spoilers.
Summary
I mean Gohan went toe to toe with Kelfa in the manga. Kale goes from wrecking everyone in one issue to having a handicap to her abilities that makes no sense given who she roflstomps previously. Which ties back into Gohan going toe to toe with Kefla. I don’t see how he’d stack up against Kale and he stalemates Kefla.
