Literally stopped at Cabba putting the Potara on Kale.
Kale didn’t get a handicap, the explanation makes perfect sense.
She went absolutely apeshit. Problem is, in base form, she was already a freaking ninja. Now imagine someone that fast hulking out like Broly.
Frieza got roflstomped because she pretty much didn’t give him time to breathe. It was nonstop Beats by Dr. Kale.
Vegeta figured things out because he could see her going nuts from a distance and so did the Job Troopers.
Black Arc… Was shit. Straight up. It was atrocious and I can’t believe they botched it when the anime did it so much better. Future Trunks didn’t even interact with Gohan, wtf!?
Only positive thing about it was how Black didn’t just got Rosé offscreen.
But then they made it be because of Zenkai bullshit. And then they cucked it out of Vegeta creating a gigantic plot hole in the process.
I’m really hoping they slow the hell down after the ToP arc, because this manga is garbage. The anime isn’t stellar by any means, but it’s writing circles around the manga, it’s not even funny.

Yea i wouldnt take anything from that Manga as canon…in this case the show comes first and the manga is the adaptation.

The Kale explanation was utter BS.
Summary
Especially considering that manga Kale is far stronger than Anime Kale. If that explanation was given for anime Kale, I might be able to buy it. Manga Kale was hiding her power on purpose. She knew she was stronger than any U6 Saiyan. Anime Kale didn’t know of her potential. Manga Kale was moving so fast in base form on Sadala that Caulifa didn’t even notice. Cabba picked up on it. Which is why he invited her in the first place. He made up some BS excuse that Caulifa bought because she had idea that Kale had been holding back in her presence. Kale burning through all her stamina is nonsense, the ToP had duration of 48 minutes total. Kale, in a form known ridiculous amounts of stamina, burned through it all in what, 30 seconds? 
Side note: That makes Gohan even more ridiculous. Given Kale’s far higher power, that makes Kefla even stronger that her OP anime form.

The whole “burning out” thing was more of a leak.
Sure, she had all that power, but without control, it was just leaking like an open faucet.

The new arc looks interesting and considerably less rushed, but it might be my imagination.

Leaking for what? 30 seconds. Unless she pulled a Vegeta vs Buu final sacrifice style attack, no way she could burn through that amount of ki in such a short amount of time. That is the thing about the ToP. The total run time for the tournament was 48 minutes. So most fights take place in a minute, maybe two or three tops. And no, I don’t mean Freeza on Namek minutes, actual minutes 
Also I still hate that they localized Toppo… as just Top.

Yeah, they definitely hit the breaks on this arc. Apparently Toriyama is back at the story wheels, so that’s a plus.
Liking this arc a lot, despite some typical inconsistency problems. Saiyans can’t survive on the vacuum of space huh? Goku brawling with Beerus on space sure looks a lot weirder now.
Saiyans never could survive the vacuum of space. Bardock and Goku were in the upper atmosphere. Yes that still makes no sense but you know Dragon Ball
