I believe Xian not only went to Evo last year but top 32’d in Marvel 3.
He got top 32 mainly because of how screwed up the brackets were. He’s alright but not exactly that great in this game.
Except we’ve been stepping our shit up. And Kusoru didn’t win FR for free. He didn’t expose our top players. He played close sets with many of them. What, just because he didn’t ever go to losers means that the U.S. is free? There’s more to the story than just that.
Kusoru winning doesn’t tell shit about which scene is better, dunno why people keep trying to play that card. Kusoru’s win speaks for himself, not his country. Why is that so fucking hard to understand?
Japan isn’t going to be free in this game, we all know that. But a “BIIG BIG” problem? Honestly, I feel that Japan has people who can easily take out some of our guys, while some of our guys can easily take out Japan. Both are on par with each other.

If these other guys coming to Evo are on Kusoru’s play level we’re going to have it rough I feel trying to win it out against them this Evo. It’s not like last year where it was literally Tokido, Freida and like one other guy. Now we got the poverty people who really invest in this game and they ain’t gonna be pushovers at all having a lot of experience in these types of games.

He played against a number of top players…FChamp, Flocker, Combofiend, Mihe, Yipes, PR Rog, ClockWerk, Wong…going 2-0, 2-1, 2-0, 2-1, 3-1, 3-2, 2-0, 10-8. That’s a pretty good list of top players.

The point that was being made by someone was that Kusoru is really just one good Japanese marvel player out of a collection of quite a few actually. There’s a number of others on his level or better.
