IPL getting capcom games?

Why do I even bother. eSports can do no wrong and pretty soon people will tell me how eSports will cure cancer.

Go get paid.

This thread sucks balls. I’ll blow up this topic later.

I want to be a cyber athlete

Yeah, that’s exactly what I said. Good job!

Also Pertho, can’t wait to not take you seriously at all!

It’s possible because there is more money in it.

You’re just assuming I’m one of the same people that care about the scene “being grassroots” if I really had any problems I would of already posted them. It is you and other people in this very thread being condescending that I have a problem with.

It’s very clear you really bad at grammar “don’t have the scene a good look”. “Have” can’t be a typo for give no matter how you look at it.

Popping off about grammar while screwing up the pop off sentence?
GATLIKE.

I mean, does anyone know their business model, if not, we shouldn’t condemn nor defend them, not yet.

So you’re arguing for the sake of arguing with no stance, and then go at me because of my grammar and go about calling me condescending. I don’t know many vocabulary words and English was never by best subject, but I think we call that being a hypocrite.

Acting like you’re better than everyone what is a good word for that?

Wow, you really do have nothing to add to the discussion except personal insults! Well I guess that’s better than being pessimistic about IPL!

Except maybe, you know, that’s just the way he talk in real life. Heck I’ve seen Ryan just sitting around with CJ Shostopper and Hiro and toss the N word around left and right like it was nothing and those two also couldn’t give a shit how many times he dropped it. Heck, it’s probably because he hangs out with those guys that he uses it so much.

Just told you homie. It’s IGN, they are driving their brand and whatever they can get per event. IGN also has IGN Prime, which is primarily their premium services that costs money to join. It all ties into what IGN has been known to do well, sell video games via their website and everything in between.

Just advertisement opportunities alone in the video game industry is golden. We’re talking millions sunk into advertisement per month for various top-ranking websites worldwide. Believe me, it all ties into everything. I’ve been working in the video game industry for almost 7 years publishing and developing AAA video games. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s funny your the one that throwing insults especially every time you post.

I like how simply expressing certain fears and concerns is now equivalent to being “blindly pessimistic.” This, despite the fact that I’ve actually had good things to say about IPL.

I am pretty sure he is an agent sent by Esports to sow the seeds of disharmony, or a really crazy guy who has hard dick for IPL because goddamn I have never seen someone defend something they know so little about so hard.

Obviously this year will be a trial run. You know the big heads are watching to see if 1) the community embraces it, and 2) if it will bring in revenue. It is a business after all.

It doesn’t matter how you feel about censorship or going mainstream, if it brings in the money you can bet a lifetime of savings that it will carry on and grow.

All I gots to say is this…

And that’s how you make a good reality show. Stay Free would be an awesome name for it.

No no you misunderstood, i read somewhere that by bringing in the grassroot players that are on top now and exposing them to non-fighting game players and bridging that gap they will level the playing field and eventually will produce new top players who were born though Esports. So these Esport FG Players with time will beat the grassroot players. Kinda like saying 09ers beating old school players

you completely missed my point, good job

hint: i’m not concerned with the fact that he’s philipino saying nigga

i’m concerned that a major pain point to partnering with ipl/mlg for a lot of people is so called censorship. this shit is about the games guys, not whatever made up idea of the fgc some people have.

i’ll guarantee you that if fchamp went to ipl and they told him to cool it, he would oblige without any problem. money talks

That’s exactly the problem.

At that point he’s less Fchamp and more a horse chasing a carrot on a string dangling in front of him.
