Well we got a Final Destination so no need to fret on stage interactions possible balance issues people. Get hyped:coffee:
They also seem to have a solution planned for the cinematics

Can’t wait for Batman only and no stage transitions. I prey that this Final Destination stage doesn’t become the tourney standard
Its ultimately the players that decide if they really need a Final Destination to make a game tourney viable. Lets just wait and see how the other stages get presented before we cry fowl
The real Question is how scared he is of snakes or bees or nuns.
FEAR GAS.

Joker might not be known for having a rigorous regime like Batman, but hes a spontaneous type of fighter hes un orthodox and vague.
And this is with him all cuffed up and all, Damian Wayne an assassin/ninja with so little remorse for life not to mention one who has little patience, still gets out smarted by the Joker
Those same cartoons for example showed Batman throwing Superman (lulwut) as if was another fodder criminal of Gotham

The animated series are not too concerned of making things comic faithful as a main priority. Just simply making certain fan-favorite characters look bad ass in scenes would net them better ratings and increased dvd sales
btw his “answer” was Batman can do whatever the fuck he wants
I’m Feeling one if my ‘the community us full if shit and only gonna make the game worse’ moodscoming on.
The idea if them thinking they need to rip out a core part of their gameplay to please the ‘community’ (finger quotes intentional) saddens me

Guys, I was never arguing that the Question would be a bad addition, That I personally disliked the character, or that he was somehow unfit for addition. There is no doubt in my mind that Netherrealms could indeed make an excellent combatant out of the Question if they so wished; rather, it is simply that while he could work, he would not be the best use of space for a character. Given that we have a fairly limited roster of around twenty four, I would hate to see unique characters like Zatanna be passed up for a more atypical Martial Artist like the Question. I’ve enjoyed reading his comics for years, but I’d rather Netherrealm use the slot to highlight a flagship character. If we are going for more obscure characters, again, I think they’d be passing up alot of good opportunities by giving the slot to the Question.
The Joker from Batman Beyond movie had procession of Tim Drake’s body. He would be capable of doing what Tim can do.
Still think he cant fight?
Intrigued. Which book is this from?
Batman and Robin Vol. 2 Batman vs Robin by Grant Morrison
That scene made me lose faith in any show featuring supes ever again…and sadly he has been at a fraction of his true comic power in almost every animated show. Bats throwing him across the room though just really makes me think of how some shit even makes it pass the "idea"phase at creative meetings lol.
Superman weights as much as a normal guy his size. Batman could throw him easily as long as he doesn’t resist. I just don’t know why didn’t Superman just float or fall on his feet or whatever.
Superman can be caught off guard easily. I can see Batman throwing him into a wall and superman not being able to react quickly enough. I mean, he gets thrown, punched, and blasted into walls all the time, and no one complains that he doesn’t stop himself.
It’s just that stage interaction has never been implemented in away that’s not game breaking. Personally, I think NRS could pull it off but I understand why people are skeptical.
That would only work if superman didn’t have the strength to move planets or FTL speed. Speeds can react in nanoseconds and even the slightest flinch would make him as heavy as a city block. In other words bats throwing superman across the room off guard is a physical inpossibiliy…pretty much comparable to a small child trying to lift a car over his head.
Well… it’s comic book logic. The rules and physics move and change according to what the writers want.
Why the fuck do people want superman to be a broken piece of shit anyway? He NEEDS to be toned down to be interesting. It’s the reason why the only really successful Superman show recently was when he was a rookie learning his powers still.
I’m always stunned when people bitch about Supes getting owned when really he should get toned down more often. He’d likely only gain MORE fans from it.
Thats why people relatively like Batman more in these over excessive Batman vs Superman arguments. The fact that he is still human (a human at max peak mind you), yet is possibly the greatest detective in dc (Tim Drake or The Question being close runner-ups) and a master tactician who could possibly take down the whole Justice League since he knows all their strengths and weaknesses. Its just the fact that he can do so much while be granted with so little (superpowers> then being Billionaire with no family besides a butler) without giving any superpowers that can do the work autopilot for him.
