Also, Batman isn’t loved for constantly fighting Joker on the rooftop. The appeal and success of Batman is very similar to The Question in that they’ve made their success in noir/detective stories. The difference is that Batman is more popular, and thus is seen more throughout DC canon so it is easier to separate him from what made him popular.
Batman can’t beat Flash in a fair fight. The Flash can summon Speedforce and punch Batman with the force of an atomic bomb. That’s just Flash. Imagine Wonder Woman, Superman, and Cyborg would do to him. I guess Batman shouldn’t be in the game, right?
The flash is probably the strongest character announced so far, which is why it always amuses me when the developers are asked how these people can beat superman,it’s flash you have to worry about.

Hell, real talk, I wouldn’t give a shit about DC if not for Batman and his influence over the DCU. His web of influence goes way too far to be limited to 4 characters. But apparently, that’s what the people want. More people would probably want the Question if only to make sure the Bat Family and Rogues don’t get another character. Question. It’s a DC game not a Batman one. I love Bats but I don’t want his affiliated characters to overrun the roster. Since this game will have about 24 characters, 4 Batman characters are enough, imo

Our opinions may differ on this but I feel that Question is far more known actually solving things than Batman is and Question is loved because of that (among other things but that mainly).

As for clayface, cool character, but due to my desire to limit the batman presence, I would go with either metamorpho or plastic man for a pure shapeshifter (not counting manhunter, he should get in no matter what anyway).

I kinda agree that I don’t want the game being saturated with Batman rogues. But I really, REALLY like Clayface and think he would be spectacular. Mr Freeze would be like having Sub-Zero again. Starfire because I forsee the game lacking from the female side of things.

DC has no shortage of ice based characters. Don’t necessary need Freeze to make that happen. They can go with Ice, Captain Cold, Killer Frost, Icicle to make that happen. With how Cold’s gun works he would be the best candidate to emulate how Sub-Zero powers work.
