Good god, I am so ready for Batman. The guy is like Hazama, Strider, Vergil and Sonya Blade all mixed together.
But man, I’m liking Harley too. She’s like Stryker and Faust mixed together, except y’know… unlike Stryker people will probably use Harley. : (
One my favorite things about Blazblue is that some characters have a conservation while they fight. I would like that for Injustice but tone down a peg
They are comic book characters. They should at least say some cheesy one liners to each other to make it more believable which would be better from simple groaning or simply saying your attack move
Some characters should have unique intros with each other.
I want Scarecrow in this game. He’ll spray you with the fear gas and then like bugs n’ shit will appear on your life bar and you’ll be all like “Ah! there’s bugs on my life bar!” And while you’re distracted he’ll throw a car at you.
Scare scrow is below average strength wise.
Shit, Harley is probably stronger than scarecrow.
He’s all fear, and maybe a pitch-fork depending on incarnations.

Sorry, but Scarecrow has no chance. I think he is a great villain, but you guys have to remember, this is not “Batman, the fighting game”. We already have 3 batman characters, and the Joker is obviously in it as well. 4 is PLENTY! The max I see them going is 5 if they add Catwoman. There are only 24 slots.4 batman characters takes up 1/6th of the roster. That is a huge amount. They want to represent the whole DC universe, not just Batman.
Maybe as DLC he will have a chance, but for the initial roster? No way.
Hell NO! There are few things that take me out of focusing on the gameplay but characters constantly babbling about shit is one of the worst. You wanna talk about getting old fast? The lines would get old REALLY quickly.
One character specific line tops imo, that way they can be unique without getting stupid. Who talks that much in a fight? Just too unrealistic for my taste and it’s not NRS’ style so I’m doubt I’ll have to worry about it.
I dunno why people think DC has the same vision they do for this game. I could easily see like EIGHT Batman characters in this game. Batman characters are all over their comics on different teams that I’ll be shocked if we only get 4 Batman characters.
I think some people are setting themselves up to be pissed off. You should EXPECT more Bat characters then hope to be pleasantly surprised, not the other way around.
Are you Kidding? Banter during fights is almost necessary in a comic book fight! I would be surprised if there wasn’t any banter at all.
I’m not going to be pissed off if there are a lot of Batman characters. I love and know mostly Batman characters. I’m just saying from a marketing POV, having a bunch of Batman is good, but you also want to advertise your other franchises. There are so many other very popular franchises in the DC comics right now, that giving Batman characters so much screen time I think could hurt them.
That’s all I am saying. From a business POV, you want to show off popular characters, but you also want to show off characters you plan to do things with in the future. People had no idea why Rocket Raccoon was in UMvC3, but now that a movie he is going to be in was announced, it makes perfect sense.
But that’s my point, the Batman characters are in different important groups all over DC(usually the leader of that group or at least a top member) that they’ll want them in the game anyway. DC’s plan lately seems to be building up the other members of the Bat family as their own characters separate from him.
Nightwing has his own book, Redhood lead the outlaws who Batman never shows up in, Batgirl is in the Birds of Prey (so is Ivy) all of them were very separated from batman. I’m not saying they won’t have different unique characters, I’m saying the cashcow franchise gets top billing.
Also like I said I would rather one, two line tops for in game fights. We already have Clashes which give the characters lines maybe make the lines they say more specific and we’d be set imo.
I wonder if they will add tag match’s like they did with MK9.
I can see The Birds of Pray being Playable, since they are their own thing now I would love to see Black Canary, Batgirl, and Poison Ivy. RedHood… maybe. I just don’t think we will see any other Batman Villains. They are tied exclusively to Batman really…
And the Cashcow does get top billing, and I bet batman will have the most characters. I just don’t think it will be half the cast. 1/4th at most
And as for Battle speaking, there should be character specific lines and such, but I think it will help the comic book feel if they make quips, at least the characters that do make them make them. Flash should be quite talkative.

I fucking hate him, he’s like a shitty batman but with arrows instead of actual gadgets.
He doesn’t even have the plus of being an agent(or former agent or whatever) of a secret organization or being one of the more reliable members on a big team or temporarily turning into a ninja samurai like Hawkeye.
even at his best he’s still pretty lame.

Yeah, but unlikely they will add any kid characters in this game that are getting the crap beaten out of them for the sake of ESRB. In any case does anybody know if they are shooting for a T or a M Rating for this fighter?
