Hmmm, I wonder how many characters specials will just be a change weapon stance. We have 2 so far…

Aesthetics;
-I can’t believe they didn’t lead with Fortress of Solitude. Its way more interesting than the street level.
-all that random flailing and not one random transition. good sign.
-I still wish the camera was just a little bit closer.
-Can’t believe how many of these moves we haven’t seen yet. Also QQ @ that ww players ineptitude.
-Impressed with every winpose so far.

Gameplay:
-No more armor on every friggin super. Thank god.
-Flash with the She Hulk motion, have we seen him cancel the runners position? might be some sweet run cancel combo potential
-Cyborg can dash cancel his cyrax bombs. If they’re unblockable,he literally is Jax.
-Hopeing for some mid-combo weapon transitions from WW and NW.
-NWs super forces him to sticks on miss and staff on hit.

goddammit they still have that fucking stupid stand up after they’re KO’d thing from MK.

also, the transition between areas is way too long. make them hit like one thing and get on with it, jesus.

Yeah but whats the other ko option? a mellow-dramatic slow-mo knockout with a high pitch yell? However, yeah that seemed copy and paste from MK, but i doubt all the character models are done and that ko thing could just be placeholder

It’s more like VSav than MK in that regard because health does not regenerate.

no, you stay on the goddamn ground after you’ve been KO’d. it looked stupid when the characters would get up only to fall over in that stiff log animation in MK9, and it looks stupid here when they get up and then kinda crouch down.

So you want the normal 2-3 rounds with a restart in the center to avoid the weird animation?

what are you talking about? no. at the end of the match. watch when anyone gets beat.

Shame the person playing WW wasn’t the best, whilst the superman player refused to let us see what her super looked like.

In MK they had to get up for Fatality purposes. In this, they have to show the person didn’t get killed by whatever ended the round or else DC and the ESRB would throw a fit. They had to do the same thing for the Heroic Brutalities in MKvDC too. Superman pounds a guy into the ground like a nail, then he wiggles his arms for a solid minute for some reason.

I suspect they will probably do another pass on the down animations anyway and clean it up at least, I can’t imagine they’d miss the opportunity to do the mid round special get ups like the past few MKs have had.

just noticed “normal” air to air hit reactions. Doesn’t look like everything is a hard knockdown. combo time!

Yeah, that bothers me too. I’m hoping that if it’s a match ender, they just stay down in the final build.

People are bugged by the weirdest things. Is ‘and stay down!’ really such an important deal?

I’m just hoping the characters in the game actually speak when they fight as opposed to just grunts and screams. They have to do these characters justice and give them some personality outside of an intro quote.

I fucking hated that, MK usually has nothing but grunts and “Asian Gibberish”.
