Injustice: Gods Among Us; New Game by NetherRealm Studios

Two words- Grapple Hook
Those two could still work. They just have to be more creative.

Eeeer… Why would you want Batman to be a Sub-Zero clone gameplay-wise when there many ice-themed villains in the DC Universe that could easily fit this role, such as Dr. Freeze or Captain Cold ?

Hawkwoman over Hawkmam makes no sense, she was terrible in the show so brining her here would be a bad move. If we bring someone in how about amazo and bane.

Bane- makes sense promotion wise, but too many batman characters, and his only gimmick is strength, something that is going to be covered in abundance.

AMAZO- Yes, he is my longshot hope. But no seth style move copies. More a superskrull style combination of abilities used for original moves.

Me.

And this would be a good chance to give more exposure to the lesser-known DC Villains who would fit in perfectly here. Just off the top of my head…

Parasite
Livewire
Poison Ivy
Weather Wizard
Killer Croc
Captain Boomerang
Metallo

Sub-Zero moveset gave him a answer to just about any situation you can put him in. Being Batman, I would like him to have similar tools.

Wonder Woman is on the ground all the time, especially in her sword and shield style. She’s on the ground in her intro as well whereas Superman is almost exclusively shown flying in his intro, his moves, his unique meter thing has him power-up while flying, even his super has him flying the whole time he knocks you into space.

WW has a more balanced blend of flying moves and ground based moves so I think the gameplay backs my theory more. Plus I swore I heard them say he was gonna be flight based somewhere but I can’t find it.

Either way I still think a Hawk could get in.

Garbage she was awesome in that show and the main reason I even know who Hawkman is is though her. I would love to see her back in the spotlight in this game.

Hawkman is so lame to me because he always goes into these dumbass blind rage fits during fights like he’s Superboy from YoungJustice season 1. He’s also pretty boring and a very bland character imo. DC dropped the ball not putting the focus on Hawkgirl and instead put her back with Hawkman which killed any momentum and popularity she could’ve had.

This is all my opinion but they should have separated them because they suck as a couple, too boring together.

I only want one thing from this. I want to be able to say with pride, my favorite phrase…

Shang Thung That Shit.

I think it would be a huge missed opportunity to leave out beast boy. All his shapeshifting powers allow for such varied animations and fighting abilities. He could be a mixture between hulk and wolverine. When he airdashes he could turn into a bird or pteradactyl. Also I love nightwing too but they hqve to put robin in there too. His alt costumes could be all the different incarnations of robin.

One of these things are not like the others. One of these things are pretty damn popular and loved. Parasite is a sick idea tho love it. So much they could do with him.

I’d like to see either Clayface or Vixen in that spot because I’m not a fan of New 52 “red Beast Boy”. Clayface would allow for more gritty badass transformations and Vixen would allow for the animal powers but without all the work involved in shapeshifting plus this game needs more wimmez.

IMO if they are gonna do shifting I would prefer brutal, vicious forms that Clay would more likely do, plus I think it’d make more sense and be more believable to have Clayface or Vixen fighting top level adult heroes than BB.

Again I say Animal Man

EDIT: And for shapeshifters i’d like Martian Manhunter and Metamorpho

Actually, there was a time where DC did put the focus on her. After Infinite Crisis Hawkman’s book became Hawkgirl and… it didn’t do very well. Hawkgirl last about 12-15 issues before it got canned. Worse yet was that Hawkman was still MIA until he appeared without explanation when Geoff Johns re-launched JSA. At any case, she had her chance and failed to get over.

Hawkgirl was considerably out of place on that roster, she had no fame coming into that show and was a obscure choice that was only included to have more females. Hawkman has been a consistent presence in the dcu and Hawkgirl only had 15 mins before people got bored of her. In my view he isn’t the most interesting character but between the both of them he is the far better choice.

The same can be said for John Stewart and Manhunter. Stewart was chosen over already pre-existing Lantern Kyle Rayner was because he was black. Manhunter is much more obscure character than Hawkgirl. Hawkgirl at least made appearances in Super Friends.

Uhhhhhh… Manhunter was one of the original seven. Any one of those number deserve a spot. He was by many considered to be the heart and soul of the justice league (there is a reason people were angry at him being transitioned to stormwatch in favour of cyborg) As for stewert, yes him being black got him picked over other lanterns, one of which was already established in the dcau, so that can be annoying for some. But he was pretty popular in the comics, particularly in the 80’s and has been able to support a book longer then hawkgirl. Still like her though

I’m not trying to shit on Manhunter’s importance. Snksuki believed Hawkgirl was out of place due lack of mainstream recognition and being token female but those things can be applied to the characters I mentioned. Dumb reasons for believing a character not deserving a spot, imo. While I personally never cared for Manhunter I would never argue that he doesn’t deserve any spots he’s given.

As stated before manhunter is 1 of the original 7 and was featured in nearly every major JL arc all throughout its run. Even in stormwatch he has a rather significant presence in that book, and hawkgirl at no point passed him popularity. Not to mention manhunter is still relevant in comics even to this day, hawkgirl hasnt even been seen in the new 52…although im not quite sure why since she could really help out hakwman right now with support characters.

John always pissed me off for taking jordan and kyle’s place in JL…I dont mind him but jordan and kyle are far better characters.

Edit: Hawkgirl had no place in the cartoon, there are at least 10+ other female characters I could mention that are far more deserving and manhunter was entitled to a spot by just name alone.

When you said John Stewart, this came to mind.

Jon Stewart

John Stewart is my second favorite lantern and I would definitely pick him over Kyle. I think John is a better character and lantern personally while Kyle has always seems like the GL version of Nightwing except lamer.

We’re never gonna fully agree on characters so this debate is kinda pointless.
